Just had a look on the Slimming World Blog and there's an article about Protein and Weightless.  It might be useful information for you @CrazyBee787.  Here's the link:  https://www.slimmingworld.co.uk/blog/protein-and-weight-loss/

I think I must be going mad!  Just found the pack of beef cubes I need to make the beef bourguignon in the fridge so I must have taken them out earlier yesterday as I was looking in the freezer for them last night before I went to bed.  So I'll get that made today and then we'll have it reheated for dinner tomorrow.

Also realised I had half a tin of beans in the fridge so warmed those up to have with the omelette this morning - it's all extra protein (even though SW don't count it as protein any more!)

Ended up having to go shopping as couldn't make the beef bourguignon as hadn't got enough mushrooms, no lardons and no carrots!  It would just have been beef & onions without them!

Hey all, question! What’s with this pink salt ‘trick’? I’ve being using pink salt on my chips for years, never noticed any weight loss because of it 🤣🤣🤣
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Never heard of that one TIE!  Only sort of "tricks" I've heard are "If it swims it slims" and "eating loads of spicy foods is slimming".

I wish there was a trick that could make weight magically disappear @TakeItEazy.🤣

I make my own 'lardons' @joedenise. I buy packs of cooking bacon, remove visible fat, cut them up and portion  for the freezer. Of course, they're only proper lardons if you have thick slices but the flavour's the same even if in small slices.

It's definitely not too late for you to lose weight @CrazyBee787. I'm guessing from your syn allowance that you have quite a bit to lose. It really is worth it for your health but I agree with you that surgery isn't the best way. What you need to do is make some changes in what you eat, not deprive yourself and then give up becasue you're hungry. You're probably right that thinking you're hungry is psychological to some extent . The answer is that when you want to have more, have more of the right things. SW used to tell you that you could eat as much as you liked of free food but, as @joedenise said, it needs to be balanced with Speed food and protein. So, for example  if you grab ham or a seafood sticks from the fridge you need some cherry tomatoes or beetroot to go with it or eat an apple later. It's also about buying in the SW friendly foods and, if you can't trust yourself, not buying the unhealthy things you know will tempt you. So, treat yourself to an ice cream when you're out rather than keep a tub in the fridge and binge on it.

It was meant to be wall to wall sunshine today but so far it's been cloudy and we even had a small rain shower. Forecast is still showing sunny all afternoon so we'll see what happens. I washed a couple of throws and a few other bits and they still dried.

We're out for a meal on Friday night @Jellybaby so maybe that will give me the shake up I need.

It's our wedding anniversary today🥰. DH and I are going out to a group we belong to tonight but no special celebrations until Friday but I will hold back on syns in case I fancy a drink later.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- LO hash, pickles, leaves (P,F,S)
D- spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- tbc

I'd say you're right @bubbs as that's the syns for the Smash presumably whether you make it up as directed or mixed up in that recipe. It's why you syn it for KFC and why I use couscous! 🤣

It'll be interesting to see if the consultant responds. 🤔
