Morning all, it’s rainy and dull here but slightly muggy. Weather is bizarre.

I’m off to library shortly and need to nip to retail park for a couple of new exercise tops. All rock and roll here 😀

    Today’s food:
B - sweet omelette, strawberries, banana, yoghurt 1.5 syns
L - lentil soup, soft pitta HEXB cheese HEXA, salad
D - leftover roast ham, potatoes and veg from last night

    Have a good day everyone.

You're right about the Weetabix @CrazyBee787. It's so much easier to have the right size portion than weighing out other cereals.

I only have cereal when I'm going to weigh in that morning as it isn't really enough for me. You could pile fruit on top and yogurt as well so that it's really filling and you'd be getting Speed food in too. They don't do chocolate flavour, but Aldi do a dupe for Weetabix which is £2.05 for 36 biscuits so maybe you're spending more than you need on an online shop.

Sorry that you haven't got the good weather @Jellybaby. It's amazing here but probably too hot if you haven't got access to a swimming pool.🤣 It's definitely too hot for you to go to the unit @bubbs unless you can go this evening when it cools down a bit.

Good to see leftovers being used for meals today @joedenise and @Jellybaby. I have one portion left of lentil soup so will put a gammon joint on the shopping list.

I think having an occasional SP meal or a low carb one is a good idea @milann as that's more sustainable than a full SP plan. My lunch today has just one LO potato so that's close.

I haven't decided whether to go dancing tonight. Nothing serious but, I have various aches and pains from last week, probably from using muscles I haven't used for a while. I think I will go for the Body Magic and make sure I warm up first.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- cold meat (P), LO veg and pickles (F,S)
D- keema curry and rice (P,S,F)
    Syns- mango chutney 2

Thanks @bubbs you reminded me to order the pease pudding and ham - check! Second positive i'll leave it there though, I don't want to be too good 🤣🤣🤣 Also small changes here and there rather then a big change too much too soon.

Thanks @maman some good ideas, I was going to syn a third weetabix although adding some yoghurt and fruit couldn't hurt.

Today I have eaten a big bowl of choco pops, not SW but at least I am clearing it down. Quite recently this would mean I am hungry quite soon even with a big bowl, however I haven't eaten anything else today, and I am about to have a cheese sandwich for lunch with chilli jam. I am not synning it (although there are syns) I am just trying to cut back what I eat. No junk food insight even though I have been to MD and garage is on the way back and hungry to boot. So feeling a bit more in control, had I eaten three weetabix and had a jp for lunch we would be looking at staying on track. for at least the first half! Also I am to have a curry for dinner with rice which can be made Free, I am not sure if this one is toally free but it would be very low synned for a bit oil to fry onions I can't remember exactly.

    In summary:-

Monday is looking to be an improvement and I feel positive 😊

Glad you’re feeling positive CrazyBee….tiny steps forward is the way to go. I often get frozen fruit to go over my cereal with yoghurt. It’s cheaper than fresh.
Well Dh is trying hard to help out BUT he’s scuppering my plans 😂 I’d cooked a big pan of veg sauce to eat over lunchtimes. He’d gone out and I even asked if he wanted some pasta before he went…he didn’t. So I decided to heat a bit of cous cous and have some of the veg sauce with it. Off I toddles to the fridge- sauce wasn’t there 😳 He’s only helped by freezing it…and freezing it in 2 portion pots 😭🥴🫣 I was gutted as I’d been looking forward to it and keeping on plan. I ended up with said cous cous with tomatoes and falafel chopped into it. 4 1/2 syns for 3 falafel. All is not lost though I’m still on plan.
Breakfast - strawberries, blueberries, yoghurt and heb walnuts.
Dinner - cous cous, falafel 4 1/2 syns and tomatoes
Tea - cabbage, left over potatoes, carrots, and beef with some frozen beer gravy. 3 syns
    Snacks - penguin biscuit 5syns?
Id planned the cabbage etc yesterday but by the time I’d eaten my left over omelette as a snack I wasn’t hungry so just had some pasta and veg sauce as late dinner, early tea 😀

    January spends - £587.58

The hospital actually rang DH to tell him we'd left the jackets in the wardrobe.  Originally we were going to leave it until his appointment next month as we hadn't booked the Bulgaria holiday at that point!  Didn't end up at the pub we were going to go to as looking online at the menu there wasn't a single thing which was anywhere near SW friendly!  So ended up at 'spoons on the way home.  My lunch definitely had a few syns for oil and halloumi as I had the halloumi and roasted veg salad.  Very nice it was too.  I also had a glass of wine so think that's probably my full day's syns!

Thanks @milann and I am pleased you managed to save the day and stay on plan.

@joedenise I am glad you had a lovely lunch and a good job you managed to get your jackets back.

Just reporting a little bit of saintly behaviour, instead of reaching for the ice creams when I wanted a snack I had a cold tin of beans straight from the can, easy, tasty, I certainly feel less hungry, but dinner calls still.

    Thanks.

Well done @CrazyBee787, small steps make a huge difference; well done on grabbing a tin of beans rather than an ice cream.
