I saw the picture @bubbs but didn't connect it with an oyster. Maybe I like seafood too much. 😁😋

It's been a lovely day here, got 3 machine loads dry but didn't start washing until after lunch because the forecast said rain. 🤔 It's meant to start raining here any time now @beanielou and all day tomorrow but it's not 100% so we'll have to wait and see.

Morning all, more rain forecast today!  Had some overnight but nowhere near as much as Friday night thankfully!

Planning on cooking some black beans today having soaked them overnight but just soaking them and a lot of the skins have already split so think I may well end up with what looks more like white beans!

Going to try and keep low syn this week to shift a bit more weight.  Would really like to get back to at least top end of target range before we go away in mid August for a week in Norfolk.

    Today's plan:

B - sausage in a soft pitta - HEB; 2 (was supposed to be sausage and onions but DH forgot to do the onions!)
    L - burger, chips, beans - F; 0.5
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, lots of green veg (to make up for lack of speed earlier today!) - P; S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; apple sauce 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning!  Oh boy do we have rain 🙈 I agree with you @beanilou it’s absolutely dire.

Seeing the pic of the ice-cream oyster brought back many happy memories and is still my mum’s favourite. My eldest DB and I were allowed to share a chocolate nougat wafer as a treat - although they were called something else in our area which is totally not PC!

I’m taking my aunt shopping this morning but hoping she’ll agree to postpone. She’s not walking well and will get soaked and won’t be able to dodge any puddles.

Food today is fruit and yoghurt  (1.5) for breakfast, ham and cheese salad sandwich using HEXA and B and fruit for lunch, dinner is lemon pepper fish with chips and salad - need to check syns, think it’s 7 or 8 but from the freezer and using up.

    Stay dry everyone!

We've had some rain overnight but nothing like you and @beanielou seem to be suffering @Jellybaby. I do hope your aunt is willing to postpone as there seems little point in getting wet. I'm going out later and it's the more  typical British summer's day that we're used to. I'll probably be wearing a summer dress with an umbrella!🤣

Were you panning to have the black beans with your burger @joedenise? I have a few tins in the cupboard but other than chilli not sure how to use them. It's interesting that I've gradually used up all the stuff in my old store cupboard as all new stock has gone into the  new larder in the kitchen. All that's left now are said beans, some soy sauce and some wine stock cubes.

Because we're out this afternoon, I'm doing a bit of a cheat with dinner. I'm using some sliced beef and gravy that are LOs from a previous roast a couple of weeks ago. Not sure how many syns for the gravy as it was fully synned before.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk
L- Spanish omelette because I enjoyed it yesterday (P,S,F)
D- roast beef (P), new potatoes (F), carrots, cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns- gravy 2?, weekend wine😁and possibly some horseradish 1?

Not having the beans with the burgers @maman.  I'm going to do a burrito bowl for lunch probably tomorrow.  Will be a few syns as I'll be using some avocado in it.  Planning on using some of the LO wild/basmati rice as well.  Also got a cooked chicken breast so will probably add that too.  Will also make a tomato salsa to go in it too.  Suspect DH will want his in a wrap rather than in a bowl though!

Well done, but that's a very quick weigh loss in a short amount of time, could you live that life for the rest of your life?
Who knows, im on a calorie deficit which is pretty easy, if we all could maintain our weight we likely wouldn't be on this forum page.
