Good to hear that your DH felt up to going to the unit @bubbs, even if he was critical of the mess!
Would you post the recipe for the cheesy chicken nuggets, please.😋

Sorry you haven't lost @milann but I suppose it's because of lifestyle changes since your DH retired. It's so much harder to do SW when you don't have a normal routine and in control of what you eat. You need a good run at staying on plan. Have you got any holidays planned at the moment? 🤔

That was a good estimate for the garlic bread @joedenise, the app shows 5 or 5.5 for a slice. Sounds like you won't be sorry to miss the pre-diabetic talk, hope the physio can help you.

I seem to be full of aches and pains at the moment too @maddiemay. I thought it was just feeling listless because of the heat but today my back aches even though it's been cooler. We had a bit of rain this morning (while I was out walking☹️) but no more forecast until Saturday.

Not seen @Coxy11 for a few days. She was stressed about her job, hope she's OK.🤔🤗

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- LOs as yesterday (P,S,F)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognaise (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 1 square of chocolate

Maman, he can't have everything, sales and a tidy unit 😂😂

Last night i went bed about 10.15 i think, think the weather has had alot to do with how we are all feeling. Hope your back soon feels a bit better 🥰

DH must be whittling about his results as looked on the app, not there, looked on NHS app nothing there at all about the cancer .

Here you go, they were really nice
    Cheesey chicken nuggets, 0sv.
1/2 pack 5% or less minced chicken
    1 egg
i used 105g Eat lean grated cheese but use what you want. which was 1 1/2 hexa choice
    Garlic
    Mix altogether
    Shape into nuggets
I put mine on foil in air fryer, but i would probably say use greaseproof paper as they stuck mine made 12, i then sprayed with frylight.
Cooked on 200 and turned them 2 or 3 times , think i cooked for about 40 mins in total to get crispy

Thanks @maman, thought I'd remembered right for the garlic bread.  Last time I saw the physio he said he'd probably need to refer me if the pain didn't improve - the last injection has lasted quite well as it was done several months ago.  You're right I won't be sorry to miss the pre diabetic talk - I just find it so boring!

We had a bit of rain this morning, just as I was driving home from the shop, got quite wet when I stopped off at my friend's but soon dried out!

I was thinking we hadn't seen @Coxy11 for a while.  Hopefully it's just because she's busy.

I made enough bolognaise sauce for a coupe of portions to go into the freezer.  Was very tasty.  It's not something we have very often as I'm not keen on pasta!  Think I need to syn a bit of parmesan but only had about 5 g if that!

OH is one of the healthiest people I know, but has been under the weather for a few weeks, put off seeing GP until after holiday. All the usual bloods, wee, poo sats etc. done. The great news was that Prostrate physically healthy and bloods good. He said that Doctor told him Liver result high, but did not think to ask how high (me jumping up and down saying well how much too high).

Scan proposed and that is now to be done tomorrow.
So now we are in to a new phase of anxiety,  I mention this because I know many of you are going/have been through these things and you will understand how this is completely de-railing the SW journey ATM. Understandably he does not want to talk to scattered family until he has some answers.

Anyway today is a new day and the yummy Ginger cake is finished!  WI in a couple of hours.

@maddiemay I totally understand the anxiety and how it affects us. Just go with the flow until you can get back on plan. WI will probably be better than you think and I hope all goes well for your DH’s scan tomorrow.

A dry day here 🥳 so three loads of washing on the line. Forecast to rain for the next two weeks! I’m now thinking of looking at houses in Spain 🤣

Dont know what’s happening this week but I’ve run out of fruit and most veg! Some potatoes, two tomatoes and half a carton of mushrooms left. I’ve got a few online orders to pick up - have I mentioned the price of paint and wood stain, absolutely shocking - so will pick up some salad bits and fruit when I’m out.

Breakfast is toast and jam 3 syns, tomato and mushroom omelette for lunch and a yoghurt 1.5 syns and dinner is chicken curry with rice from the freezer.

Morning all, a lovely day here again but no washing will be done!  I'm fed up after the amount I've done recently!  Weather forecast not looking great over the weekend so will try and get some done tomorrow and/or Friday.

@maddiemay - just do the best you can at the moment, it's a worrying time.  🤞 for DH's scan tomorrow.

Have got my hairdresser coming later, glad about that as my hair is getting longer than I like, particularly my fringe and round my ears!

    Today's plan:

B - mushroom omelette - P; S (really surprised as 3 out of 4 eggs had double yolks)
    L - chicken fajitas - HEB; P; S
    D - Spanish rice - P; S; F; 5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - SW wrap
    Syns - chorizo 5

    Have a good day everyone.
