Morning all, got worked up early this morning (4.45ish) by the rain! Couldn't get back to sleep so got up just after 5! Certainly brightened up since I got up and there's a bit of breeze so another load of washing in the machine. Still need to strip the motorhome bed so I can get that washed. Will go and do that shortly. Not sure if I'll wash it today or leave it for another couple of days (more rain forecast for tomorrow!). At least it should get the water butts refilled and save me having to water the garden!
Today's plan:
B - porridge - HEB
L - sweet chilli noodles with chopped salad bits plus chopped roasted peppers, may put some prawns in too but need to check if I've got any in the freezer! - P; S; F; 3
D - cold chicken, chips, beans, mushrooms - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - porridge
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone, raining here too so no washing yippee 🤣
I’ve discovered I like jigsaws - and it keeps my hands and head occupied, no thoughts of nibbling creeping in! I keep knitting for the winter months. Think I’m turning into my mum 🙈
Berries and yoghurt 1.5 syns for breakfast, my version of M&S orzo pasta salad for lunch and it’s chilli salmon, new potatoes and loads of roasted veg for dinner. I’ve bought some meringues and raspberry coulis to have with yoghurt if I want a pudding (3.5 syns).
Have a good day all.0 -
We had the tiniest smatter of raindrops earlier but long gone now @joedenise . Bedroom curtains washed today, fortunately it's a little bit cooler as I'll have to iron them before putting them back up.
I like jigsaws too @Jellybaby but haven't done one for years. My SIL always brought one or two on holiday and we'd set it up in the villa, a perfect pastime for staying out of the sun. I particularly like the back to front ones. Wasgij | The hugely popular puzzle brand!
DH went for a routine blood test this morning and decided to weigh at the surgery. He's exactly the same weight as he was the day before we left for our holiday! 😡 It's so unfair!! He ate all the biscuits, crisps, ice cream and bread etc that I ate and he's just back a week or so onto his 'normal' food and any gain is gone! He doesn't even do 100% SW, just dinners and some breakfasts.😡😡😡
Meanwhile, I'll just plod on. I'm out for dinner on Thursday evening but other than that I've got a clear week ahead in control of what I eat.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- LO chicken casserole and veg (P,F,S)
D- sausage casserole with penne (P,F,S)
Syns- BGTY sausages 20 -
My DH is the same @maman except he eats loads of things I don't like crisps - in the month he must have eaten the equivalent of about 2 dozen bags or more - and he weighed himself the morning after we got back and had managed to lose 4lb!. Now that is definitely unfair!!!0

It’s definitely unfair the way the guys loose weight by devouring just what they want….wheras some of us only have nibbles and the calories jump out and cling onto us forever 🫣
im really struggling to motivate myself….I’ve got 5 weeks left on my countdown and I’m exactly the same weight as I was when I restarted SW back in February…..at least I’ve not gone over.
I visited my brother for his birthday today. It took me twice as long as usual as the trams were stopping every mile or so because of point failures. Not sure if it’s weather related. Anyway I had some lunch and cake with him…..he’s not in good health and is 79 today - he hasn’t been eating properly, but had some cake with me. His wife said it’s the first he’s eaten fo a couple of days other than small amounts of yoghurt. So if having a bit of birthday cake got him eating- it was worth any weight I put on.I had a picky tea when I got home but mine contained a small slice of pizza as well as ham, salad bits and hummus.January spends - £587.580 -
Evening all 😁
Been cooler today thank god with a breeze, apparently supposed to have torrential rain tomorrow, but looking aat the weather we are going to miss it, we really do need it.
I agree about the men and their weight 😢
Dunno what's up with me but totally knackered, dh says because you are always up early and on the go which is very true and not getting any younger 😂
I saw a recipe on my feed on FB , cheesy chicken nuggets, made them for tea they were lush 😋😋

Morning all (just), been shopping this morning and also popped in to see my friend as picked her up a couple of bits while I was there. Also popped in the Drs to make an appointment to see the physio again and hopefully get another steroid injection in the base of my thumb although not holding out much hope as already had 2 and he said last time that if it got bad again he'd probably need to refer me for an op which I don't particularly want but we'll see what he says. He usually only works Saturdays but apparently he's so busy he's now doing a weekday evening so I've got an appointment for 7.20 next Wednesday (23rd) - day after DH's op! I'm also supposed to be at another of the pre diabetic talks that evening so won't be going to that, quite honestly they're a waste of time as I already eat healthily because of SW and in fact a lot of the links to recipes are on the BHF website which mentions in connection with SW!
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - Welsh rarebit, pickles - HEB; HEA2; P; S; F
D - spag bol, small piece of garlic bread 5?
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - garlic bread 5?
Have a good day everyone.

@milann nice that chatting with you and eating cake gave him a boost to eat some himself.
@bubbs OH and I both joining in with you being cream crackered,
@joedenise I think the thumb injection will be the next step regarding my painful thumb joint, so dammed weak too.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
