Fortuitous that you woke up when you did @bubbs! I can sympathise with your DH re: 'going' - would sennakot help?

I really enjoyed the salmon tonight, just the right portion size and I scrimped on the rice a bit (200g for 4 of us) and no-one complained  :)

DH has gone out with his mates and will stay over (old town) so I'm going to have a nice bath and get comfy. Don't feel like I've lost anything this week, and still the weekend to go, but I'm being very disciplined so you never know.

    Welcome Coxy 😁

They prescribed 2 different things , he has to take 1 in the morning 2 a night, they said would take 5-6 days as they move your bowels etc to get to prostrate and needs to settle again.

God knows what i have done, it is what it is, i am still out the bottom of target anyway.

Hey all, I didn’t go to lunch. I took my salad stuff and my kindle to a park in the next town and had a lovely couple of hours in the sunshine.

Not too much TMI for me @bubbs as I suffer with similar problems and I haven’t had an operation! I hate taking laxatives but sometimes needs must.

@maman I’m going to WI as I don’t need to be at the airport until 4ish. I don’t feel as if I’ve lost anything, not long to find out.

Youre Dh is doing well Bubbs. I think we have a bit of a 6th sense when our loved ones are poorly. I know I’ve woken many times for no apparent reason to find something up with one of the children when they were tiny. Likewise when Dd was ‘out….out’ in town as a young adult ..I’d sleep lightly but always wake up 10 minutes or so before she arrived home..so I know it wasn’t her waking me….maybe you subconsciously knew the bag would need changing.
I went to wi on Thursday. I’d put 1/2 on which isn’t bad over a couple of weeks and a holiday thrown into the mix. However…. I am down to just 1/2 lb loss since starting back in group in Feb annnnddd I’ve used all my holidays from group 🥴😳 I had contemplated not bothering with group BUT I gave my head a wobble and bought a 12 week countdown. So I’ve been perfectly on plan since 😇 Were off in Millie Motorhome again on Monday till Friday though….London this time. I’ll try my best whilst I’m away and get straight back when we get home. I’m determined I’m going to loose the stone and a half to get to my target, get my bp down, help the arthritis in my ankle and hip and see  the nice tops and dresses on me instead of hanging in the wardrobe.
Breakfast- mushroom omelette 1 syn for teaspoon butter
dinner - new potatoes, chicken, cauliflower and broccoli with cornflour cheese sauce. 1 syn and hea
tea - beef stir fry with rice (lots of veg) soy sauce, ginger and garlic.
snacks - blackcurrant and soda in pub, 2 syns? for cordial , dime bar chocolate 4 syns.
    January spends - £587.58

Thanks Milann , Yes i do think i woke up for that reason. He does look shattered now, he is passing a few floaty clots and they hurt when they pass through, but McMillian nurse told us this would happen, but i am telling you that bag is full after 45 mins and they reckon 4 pads a day? Don't think so 🤔

No 0.5 with a holiday is very good, but least you have committed to a countdown, good luck

Good result for you @milann and I feel exactly like you - need to shift this extra weight to feel better in my clothes and help other aches and pains.

Didn’t realise they’d moved his bowel @bubbs thought it was the gas they pump in to expand the space to work in. Doesn’t sound like 4 pads a day will be anywhere near enough 😳

Good choice for lunch @Jellybaby - good luck for WI and safe flight/happy holiday x

I went to bed at 10pm after a lovely bubble bath. Slept through until my alarm at 7am so clearly needed it. I’m going to park run this morning - it’s a bit grey but due to be 18 degrees at 9am when it starts. Have got two skinny sausages out to have for breakfast - looking forward to that 😊

    Food today:
    B - 2 skinny sausages, poached egg, GF toast - 1.5, P, HEB
L - crab sticks, pickles, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes - free, S
D - to be decided - if DD is out we may eat leftovers from the freezer. Otherwise I’ll do salmon and pea pasta.
    HEA - milk
Syns - 1.5 but depends on dinner

    Morning all,
Another wee half pound off this morning. Slowly, slowly….🤣🤣

On holiday I’d normally have a glass of wine each night, a couple max as I’m on my own. I’m trying to stay off alcohol so I’ve decided I’m going to have crisps instead 😋😋 the size of the bag will depend on my mood 😉

Anyway, off to pack my bag. Have a good week everyone!
