Afternoon all, it's a lovely bright and warm day with very little breeze. Just wish I had some washing to hang out but there just isn't enough to be worth putting the machine on but I bet there will be tomorrow by the time we change tomorrow! Weather looks OK for the morning but not so much for the afternoon so hopefully will be able to get it out fairly early and get it back in dry, or almost dry, around lunchtime before the rain starts! At least we won't need to water the garden if there's a decent amount!
That's awful about the fire @bubbs. What on earth possesses them to do something like that - just doesn't make sense! Glad no one was hurt. Did the extra height on the chair help your DH @bubbs? Hopefully it did.
Went to the tip this morning so said to DH we might as well do the shopping today rather than going out again tomorrow so at least that's done for the next few days!
Today's plan:
B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
L - burrito (using LO sloppy Joe mix from the freezer) - HEB; P; S
D - pashwari style baked chicken, rice - P; S; F; 1.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - SW wrap (they're bigger than either WW or Tesco own brand ones!)
Syns - coconut drink (100ml) 1.5? May have a pack of mini choc chip biscuits 5? (99 cals)
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all.
It's really warm here today 😁
Denise no, not really, he has left one on folded up, took the other 2 off. I went and fetched a leg strap this morning and he has only had 2 bleeds so far today. But he rang the McMillian nurse and spoke to her, she said it's quite natural as long as it's not pouring, she asked about removal and he said Weds, she said now don't be expecting alot as it's going to gush out of you. He said yes i know.
He did have a why me earlier, that's the first time i have heard him say it, but then he said well like i said before it's the hand i have been dealt so need to get on with it. I said make sure you talk about your feelings, i will, i will he says .
We did have good nights sleep last night 👏 i got up 3 bloody times for loo but he was fast asleep and said this morning he felt better for a good nights sleep.
The fire, the whole strip of shops has got to be knocked down, the boys were 13, 14 and 15 yrs old!! The youngest has been released no further action, the other 2 are on bail 😡 they should be bloody locked up!
I have not got washing today either, but i did say to dh , how come we always have washing up or washing 😂 he said because you can't leave it!
He said to me about 10mins ago is that switch broken? I said which one? He goes the kettle 😂 cheeky booger!
Lunch i had 2 crispbread 2 syns or 1/4 hexa, left over chciken mixed with 1 syn mayo and ff greek yoghurt, beetroot, melon, tomato
Having lasagne for tea and salad, i said to dh what do you want for tea ? he said fishcakes, i thought all the food we have and he wants something i have a little tiddly one of 😂 so he's having that with fish fingers beans and mash

Hello,
Weighed in this morning with a 🤬 1lb gain from I know not where or how? Just so disappointing as I’d changed things up this week, started back running, made sure to do more steps, cut down syns and ate more protein. So unfair.Anyway it is what it is. I have sacrificed my beautiful notebook so can’t stop tracking now! Food today:
B - breakfast tortilla - egg, potatoes, red pepper, spring onions with 1 tbsp brown sauce - P, free, S, 1
L - LO mushroom risotto, apple, banana - free, S
D - fish curry, rice - P, free, S
HEA - milk
Syns - skinny bar 3.5, brown sauce 1.Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings1 -
Coxy,
It could be because you have started running again, holding onto fluids, hopefully you will have a whoosh effect next week, keep going, i know it's disheartening though 😢

Realised when I was making dinner that there were more syns than I'd thought! Another 6! so no mini choc chip biscuits this evening. Just had some fruit and yoghurt instead!
Sorry about the gain @Coxy11 but suspect that @bubbs is right that it'll be fluid retention and hopefully will shift this week coming and you'll have a good loss next week.

Morning all, not a particularly nice day today - it's cloudy and very windy with rain forecast about 11 o'clock so have decided to leave the washing until tomorrow when it's forecast to be dry.
Although I did some shopping yesterday I hadn't realised we were nearly out of salad so need to pop out and buy some more today, everything except spring onions as I did know yesterday that we needed those! Should have realised that with using salad leaves yesterday I'd need more before Thursday's shop. It really doesn't help me changing my shopping day!
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash (using up the last of the sloppy joes!) - P; S; F
L - ham salad sandwich - HEB; P; S; 1
D - pork schnitzel, wedges, salad - P; S; F, 1.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - mayo 1; breadcrumbs 1.5
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all,
Yes you are right, it could be fluid retention but strangely I feel better in myself and not bloated. I’m actually enjoying my food more and making more of an effort rather than sticking to what I usually have.We had fish curry last night using chunky cod fillets - it was nice. DH loved it, DD not as keen.NWD today and I have a hearing test at noon. Have been on a short run this morning which has got my step count off to a good start.Food today:
B - cheese omelette, banana - P, HEA
L - LO BNS and chilli risotto, blueberries, apple - free, S
D - pork and apple burgers, SW chips, salad - 0.5, free, S
HEA - milk
HEB - skinny oaty bar
Syns - 0.5, Twirl 5.5 so 6 syns total
Have a good day all.CoxyCross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
Shame about the little gain @Coxy11 but do keep plodding and you will get a decent loss soon. I'm sure using your lovely notebook for a food diary will help.👍🏼
It's good that the McMillan nurse is readily available to offer advice @bubbs.
It's damp here, not heavy rain but good for the garden.😊
I didn't get to post yesterday but stuck to plan and ended the day on 3 syns (2 for BGTY sausages and 1 for a square of DH's chocolate).
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms, tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- meat and veg LOs with pickles (P,S,F)
D- keema curry with pilau rice (P,S,F)
Syns- maybe mango chutney 2?0 -
Morning/Afternoon all
It's absolutely belting down here! and so cold, DH put the heating on 😱 it's off now though. I have just been to the unit for a couple of hrs as not been for 10 days or so, he says i hope you haven't made a mess up there 😂 i said no not really 😂 he goes that means you have 😜 He's so anal about it.
Yes only between 8-4 Maman 😂 any problems after that a&e.
Coxy glad the bloating has gone.
Just had post, pushing it fine it's about dh's appointment tomorrow, apparently it's a trial to see how he gets on without catheter and we will be there about 4 hrs but could be all day 😱
Not sure what i am eating for lunch, probably picky plate, i just said we will hae "fry up" for tea as i have mushrooms that need using and some bacon, took the sausages (sausage gate ones) out the freezerSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Make sure you and your DH take a good book/kindle/laptop to help the time pass! I know when I had weekly infusions I was at the hospital for a good 8 hours and it's really boring (that's an understatement!). You might want to take something to eat as well as they'll likely only be a sandwich offered (with white bread probably!). Hope it goes well.0
