Got to be fakeaway Chinese @bubbs xx

I really enjoyed my roast dinner today. Had Kentish strawberries for afters, just plain, no ice cream/cream. Family had NY cheesecake with strawberries and maple syrup, then they had some lemon cake afterwards which Mum brought. She also brought some D0rritos, some ketchup Wa!kers, the cake and two bars of C@dbury chocolate, - talk about a feeder!!!

I have leftover cabbage which I'll make into bubble n squeak tomorrow - yummy.

At the risk of triggering @bubbs (!) I got some A!di skinny sausages today. Am I correct in thinking they are 1 syn each please? TIA xxx

Thank you so much @bubbs really appreciate it - yes they are the ones xx.

Well by some miracle I’ve lost 4lb this week. Still a way to go to get back to target but I’m in a better frame of mind. Think it’s due to sacrificing my beautiful notebook to journaling/food diary which seems bonkers but if it works lol.

We are going to a classic car show/craft fayre today with DD/DS2 and DD’s friend. There’s a BBQ and beer tent so the others will no doubt indulge. I am going to have bubble n squeak with a couple of sausages then take a bottle of water with me. We are having steak and chips tonight (SW ones for me), vine tomatoes, peas and large flat mushrooms for dinner. Really looking forward to that.

I’m going to make a small tortilla later to portion up for work breakfasts. DH will not eat it so will need to find a small dish.

Have a good day all. Thinking of @bubbs and her DH and @beanielou especially xx

Thought I’d posted yesterday but forgot to press the button 🙈

Hope everything goes well for your DH today @bubbs 🥰

    Look after yourself @maddiemay and @beanilou x

Fab losses @Suffolksue and @Coxy11 👏👏 I like nice notebooks too!

It’s very wet and windy here but I’m intending to head out to a cheap brand shop shortly. I’ve spied they have tableware on offer which is very like an expensive brand but it’s like getting hen’s teeth! I have a few branches I can try.

Food wise, all on plan over the weekend. Today I’ve had banana, strawberries and f/f Greek yoghurt for breakfast (0.5 syn for tbsp toffee syrup), lunch is minestrone soup I made at the weekend and dinner is chilli with rice.

    Have a good day everyone!

Morning all, another nice bright, blowy day so have done another load of washing which is now blowing in the wind!  Think it will dry quite quickly if the breeze keeps up.

I'm sure it's going to be Chinese Fakeaway tonight @bubbs - it seems to be your DH's favourite meal.  Did make me laugh that he asked if it was his "last supper"!  Good that he still has a sense of humour.

Well done @Coxy11 - 4lb is a brilliant loss.  I suspect you're also feeling less bloated with cutting various things out of your diet.

The leg of lamb yesterday was lovely so I'm going to make a ragout with some of the LOs.  DH also cut off a decent chunk before I cooked it and I diced that up and marinaded it overnight and now have a lamb and chickpea tagine in the SC which I'll freeze once it cools down later.

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, mixed frozen fruit, milk - HEA2; HEB; S
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - lamb & chickpea ragout, pasta - P; S; F

    HEA1 and 2 - milk
    HEB - Weetagix
Syns - will probably have a small brownie (made by DD1s partner) 6?  (The squares are 2 bites big)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Afternoon all

Thanks Beanie, hope you hear soon from DVLA 🤞🤞

Well done Coxy brilliant loss 👏👏 We have those placemats and coasters 😁😁

    Jelly it's tomorrow 😁

Denise, i know he keeps saying it and i end up swearing at him 😂 he has not said he is nervous (which is understandable ) but i know when he is and he's read all the info again, got his tablets together in the bag they give you, packed his bag as far as he can do. His knee is really playing him up as not been able to take medication for that since last Monday 😢

    Yes we are having fakeway.

Did a load of washing put it out, been blowing nicely, then it came over black so i got it in, just in time as started to rain but now lovely again. Washing ironed and put away!

Had a lovely lunch the 2 waffles left from other day with a slice of ham on and a poached egg, side salad and watermelon. Broke one of the eggs when i dropped the shell when putting the other in the pan 🙄
Bit of info for you these plates are 38 yrs old 😂 first dinner set we ever bought and i still have all the dinner plates!
