I walked around the charity shops in Southend before my hair appointment on Friday and didn't find one thing. I was looking for Spring tops and dresses. Very disappointing. :/

just think of all the money you saved......
True. Lol. I need some tops for warmer weather, though. I only have winter tops and vest tops, nothing for in between weather.

So, if I am pondering a trip to experience the delights of the N.Yorks car boots & Miró's stamping grounds of Ripon, Otley etc, where's a good place to stay?

Or it could be an admission of your new style @Rosa_Damascena     Rather than all those beautiful work dresses what might you love in there instead?

Luck for me on Saturday - I popped into local store to make a donation in return for a table and chairs that someone was giving away and had a  quick look round.  The shop was just to busy to look at clothes but in the blanket/dog towel basket I saw a lovely soft possibly cashmere item - so I pulled it out to find a gorgeous wrap for just £2.    Very happy with that!
Please tell me its for you and not the dog?
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

Do you mean location, as in a base to ‘work’ from or are you looking for actual recommendations for a place to stay, (hotel, b&b, cottage, campsite, lodge, yurt 😁)
A bit of both please! Somewhere to base myself, and maybe suggestions of places to lay my weary head, preferably B&B or nice pub with rooms!
