I read the Factory Shop is closing down so it might be worth heading there if you need Christmas gift wrap / decorative items for celebrations?Wednesday2000 said:
I was thinking about that shop today! I went to that area a few weeks ago and couldn't find the shop I used to go to near Whitechapel.Rosa_Damascena said:I took a trip into Bethnal Green and Shoreditch yesterday, they are so much smarter than when I first encountered them some 35 years ago! I nipped into the Spitafields Crypt Trust chazzer on Bethnal Green Road but was sorely disappointed by both the goods and the prices, so came away empty-handed (no bad thing).
I am in central Leigh today so will look in the shops there. I don't really need anything, to be fair.

Someone was talking about that in one of my classes. Quite a lot of places are closing near here. Sad.Rosa_Damascena said:

Today I bought a BNWT hanging floral washbag for £2. The brand is Leaf & Lovely - can't find it online though.
Also a pair of Moroccan style metal and crystal lampshades for the grand sum of £2, will be an improvement on the current shades. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Love the lampshades. DD is after a cordless/rechargeable lamp and I've seen posts where people use an ordinary lamp and simply chop off the cable/add a rechargeable lightbulb - about £20 for 2 bulbs on Am@zon including the remote/dimmer etc. - so I think I will be looking out for a lamp or two as my next challenge."Think of many things, do one"
