Had a really good visit to Huddersfield yesterday, went into the Kirkwood hospice shop near the church & found a pair of m&s jeans for £3.50, then walked down to the shop in the pack house centre & found 2 tu dresses, a next office shift dress, Peter storm short zip fleece, a Tu shirt, a Tesco top & a pair if George jeans for myself & a pair of Charles tyrwhitt trousers for my brother all £2 each such a haul for a size 20 lady unusual. Even bigger happy moment was when I tried everything on at home & everything fitted. Thankyou to the size 20 lady who must have had a clear out
I checked the price on my brother's trousers when I got home an eye watering £89.99 had spotted the brand until I repacked my bag they happened to be his size.10 -
Well done everyone, loads of great bargains being picked up lately☺️
About 2 months ago I ‘bought’ a Hobbs puffa coat in burgundy on Vinted. It spent 3 weeks visiting various InPost depots all over the country then, !!!!!!, disappeared from all tracking. It took 5 weeks of harassing Vinted for a refund which finally arrived at the weekend. Today I called into the YMCA chazza in Ripon and got this Lands End, 80% down, knee length puffa coat for £15. It appears brand new but sadly the hood is missing. Still, the disappeared Hobbs coat had a synthetic filling, was ‘gently used’ and cost £60 after adding on the ‘buyer protection’ and shipping. It must have been meant to be🤗 Now on the look out for a showerproof hat of some description!

Nice coat @Miró. Shame about the hood. I started wearing a beanie hat in the rain (Primarni special) and it kept my hair dry (and out of my eyes) - although to be fair it wasn't chucking it down. But I think a burgundy fedora might be in order - you can get showerproof ones too 🤠. This beanie is T3mu - never shopped there but you get the idea.

I am all about the burgundy! I have 3 puffy long winter coats in the colour, including my Regatta and Denim & Co (for a fraction of the price you paid @Miró ) and they are smart and keep me toasty warm.Miró said:Well done everyone, loads of great bargains being picked up lately☺️

Managed to donate a bag of clothes today. Most of our charity shops aren’t accepting anything so I was very pleased. Bought a book for my Grandson as a thank you 😀6
