It wasn’t a charity shop, but I went to a Christmas fayre today and bought a Christmas tree candle for 50p and an artificial poinsettia for £3.

I was thinking of you today @Wednesday2000. Had you not been away you could have jumped onto a #21 bus and headed to a charity jumble sale in ShoeburyWednesday2000 said:It wasn’t a charity shop, but I went to a Christmas fayre today and bought a Christmas tree candle for 50p and an artificial poinsettia for £3.

I spent the day with my darling niece, otherwise would have been there. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I had a good chazzer find this weekend, this console table at BHF for £10 (RRP £68). Perfect for my downstairs cloakroom.

Very worthwhile trip to Otley today. Came home with a pure silk Reiss shirt/top for 99p. It has a small mark on the front that I hope will come out with WUL or a Stain Devil. Label says DryClean only but pffftt to that! Also got a seemingly brand new Hobbs dress for an unbelievable £4 from the Mind shop. At the weekend I bought a floaty chiffon dress in rather drab shades for when I want to fade into the background. From BHF for £12. Also found the pair of ankle boots I have been searching for for ages, burgundy £7 in CRUK Northallerton. Bit of a spendy week! 🙄

Blimey, £169 originally for the Hobbs dress!!!8 -
Fabulous finds, @Miro ! The "drab" dress is my kind of thing, and will go well with the boots and dark red lipstick

I like the “drab” dress too. Lovely finds. My local charity shop is full of ex Zara stock at £40 plus 😱. I need to search further afield8

I love the drab dress and think it very far from drab, boots, a belt, a red lipstick and a few bangles and that dress will most certainly not fade into the background. Boots and Hobbs dress a good find too.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!8
