Good morning 😁 I remembered to weigh myself yesterday (forgot on Thursday) but then forgot to post it 🙄 Those tricksy menopause elves must have been messing with my memory again.
Another 1 lb off for me this week please Brambling
I'm another one that has put the breadmaker away. The airfryer is on the counter instead so that I cam make slimming world chips. We're also saving now for our holiday spends so staying home for meals instead of nipping out for a coffee shop lunch here and there which is definitely helping with weight loss. Also I'm a grazer so I prefer small meals more often. My current quick make favourite is dry fried egg, 2 turkey rashers and some spinach on small wholemeal bread toast.
I've been trying to improve my step count too. I can't walk far outside yet but I walk on the spot indoors while listening to music. It's been four years and two operations since my knee first became very sore and then covid hit. Both had a dramatic effect on my mobility. I went from running three times a week and working in a busy cafe to....not very much. Running doesn't make you thin by the way, it makes you fit and very hungry 🤣
I'm making a roast dinner for this evening as it's grey and miserable outside. Not sure about lunch yet - possibly soup.
Take care all of you 😊

Boo! Put 1Ib on this week.
Honestly its been so grotty and miserable lately that I think Im more concerned with staying warm and healthy at the moment rather then weight loss.
No major diet disasters and Ive kept up my exercise for the week (although probably less walking then usual due to the weather). Better luck next week I suppose.7 -
Good morning -1.5LB please, was soooo close to the 2. I think it was helped along this week because of me being ill rather than watching what I was eating.
Hope you all have a good week, I'm ready for some warmer weather now.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Morning all xx
Monday morning weigh in revealed - 0.5 lb.
I was expecting a gain, maybe a hefty gain, as it's been another difficult week: my son's uncle died on Tuesday after a very long battle with illness, so not unexpected but still a shock, plus we're still all in limboland with uncertainty at work.
Thankfully Pops continues to improve over in Spain, so it's not all bad news.
Anyhoo. I'm grateful for the loss. And need to get my head back in gear, and find the willpower to overcome the 'Sod it' s when life throws another curveball.
Well done to everyone for persevering.

Sorry you're having such a rough time of it, roundtoit. Its hard to manage your eating when you've real worries to deal with and I'm sorry for your loss. To lose in those circumstances is truly remarkable.
Unlike charlies_tribe (well done btw) I have put on this week. I gained 1lb.
Now after my "what the 'eck!" moment I decided to look back over the thread to remind myself what I'd eaten this week. All became clear. There was the 'door step' episode with DS's attempt at cutting bread. The pizza day when I was given three slices and didn't hand two back but hoovered down the lot.
Oh and of course the roast chicken dinner when you literally couldn't see the plate for food. I left some but made up for it by going back and picking at the chicken when I was stripping it for another meal.
But you know what, I enjoyed every mouthful of that food, I didn't snack on anything other than what I had planned and I turned down numerous offers of chocolate bars and sweets from my mum. Lessons to be learnt but I don't feel any guilt or self pity this time round. (Boy I was a total misery to be near in the past on 'put on' weeks. I was full of self loathing).
I feel excited for a brand new week and have just had a gorgeous breakfast with DH of boiled eggs and a lovely slice of buttered fingers. Yum!
Food today:
2x boiled eggs & a slice of toasted fingers
S/F chicken breast in a pitta with salad & a little sweet chilli mayo.
Snacks - SC Lemon rice pudding, fruit
Shall try to resume my chair exercises this week if I can. Did 15 minutes of housework this morning (sounds like nothing but massive for me) as I'm starting my Flylady regime again. Well, I say 'I', I mean DH but he doesn't know it yet.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

You shouldn't feel guilty about what you eat either, we're all trying to do the best we can.
I lost -1lb this week, meal plan below. It seems a lot although I do have small portions but I need to have 3 meals a day otherwise I'm in the biscuit jar all the time!!

I'm salivating over your Cod with lemon crust, Mollina. I've got cod in the freezer so I shall have to pop that on my menu plan soon.
Well done on your loss. You're doing really well. 😁AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
