Old Style Weight Loss Challenge - 1st Quarter 2025

The sky is so white here today. They're forecasting snow for tonight and tomorrow and I can see why looking out my window!

Food today:

2x Boiled eggs and a slice of buttered fingers
Leek and Potato soup with HM bread

Snacks - pineapple and mandarins. 

We loved soup last week and it was so filling.  The plan is to have a soup meal once a week now.

Leeks are expensive because they weigh quite heavy but  we're using our free ones from Lidl for this today and I noticed that Tesco has them on special for 99p so I'll buy some of those and chop and freeze for another week. We do the same with celery when its on offer.

STS this week, which given that I’ve eaten out twice and the meds which can cause weight gain have been increased, I’m taking as a win. It’s really hard to feel inspired when it’s so cold, but I’ll try harder next week and hope for a loss.

Morning everyone I’ve stayed the same again I’m doing alright on the eating no snacks except fruit but struggling with the walking and excercise it’s so cold here but I suppose I’m not putting on must try harder roll on spring well done everyone there’s been some good losses

Just eaten  lot of chocolates.  That was clever the day before weigh day.  Probably because it was the day before weigh day!

Food today:

Roast lamb, roasties, parsnips, broccoli, brussels, carrots, a yorkie, mint sauce and gravy

Snacks - I think I've had enough with the 8 chocolates I ate!

Monday morning weigh in revealed - 2.5 lbs.

I had the right mindset this week - it makes such a difference when I'm not fighting myself. Does that make sense?

Well done on all the losses!
It's a STS for me this week please. A bit gutted as was almost down a pound yesterday so im blaming last nights pasta bake. Hopefully it comes off next week.

On reflection I know exactly what happened last week...fish and chips twice and yesterdays shambolic day. I'd forgotten about the two takeways when DH was incapacitated. 

Food today:

Slice toast and butter
1 slice of HM Tuna and pineapple pizza with big salad and dressing.

Snacks - Fruit and yoghurt
