Yes that's the idea, Katejo. You can either set it to just make the dough and do its first rise before you get it out and shape it and do a second rise outside the machine before baking in the over (in the case of rolls, bagettes , etc ) or in the case of pizza I just use the dough straight from the machine and load the pizza base up and cook.
Alternatively, you can set it to a programme that will bake you a loaf from start to finish after you have loaded the ingredients into it. You can also bake a cake (don't personally like them when I've tried as quite heavy) make jam, yoghurt, porridge, rice and cottage cheese. (the last four my older machine couldn't do but the new Tefal does].
I'm not sure I'd faff with the porridge, rice etc as I have an instant pot that does all that. In truth we've had it a year and circled it suspiciously as we're a bit scared of it. Not great with new gadgets and the pressure cooker element brings back terrifying memories of my mums hissing in the 70's.
Now my Easiyo yoghurt maker and my Nut milk maker machine are a different matter. Wouldn't be without those. Almond milk coffee is so good!
Sorry gone way off topic here.

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
I forgot to log my 1lb loss yesterday, this retirement means I lose track of my days 😁
Well done on all weigh ins 👏👏 and Ginger well done on passing your half stone 🎖️ you are on a roll this quarter 🙂
I don't have a bread maker as I remember when my sister had one and it was too tempting to just keep eating it every day! I do occasionally make a small loaf using my stand mixer to knead and the prove setting on my ninja I also cook it in there, I have a Pullman tin which is one with a lid, but I eat it too fast to do too often, sometimes I take half to my sister, it only makes a loaf with 500g of flour or a 500g bread mix.

Brambling that’s why I got rid of my bread maker we we’re eating it as soon as it was made couldn’t resist the smell I think the first week we got it we put a stone on between us6

Apologies for the late check in, I’ve been away with no access to scales! I’m pleased to report a loss of 0.5 kilo. I’m pleased as we’ve eaten out a fair few times.8

Food today:
1x crumpet topped with greek yoghurt and peaches
Roast chicken, roasties, swede/carrot mash, brussels, cauli, stuffing, yorkie and gravy.
Snacks - peaches, mandarins.
Mum's around for her usual roast chicken dinner so its the full works today. I've given orders to DH to strictly watch my portion size but we shall see how that goes.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

STS for me this week Brambling. I know what you mean about not knowing which day it is - we usually spend the first hour asking what day it is!"I started out with nothing
And still got most of it left"

Thank you for the medal Brambling.
I’m looking forward to yoghurt for breakfast tomorrow as I managed to get into the city to stock up. Last time I went they’d none of the higher protein one I get. It will be a welcome change from the savoury breakfasts I’ve been having since starting.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025
