After a week or two where I probably put on I took the plunge and have just weighed myself.
2lbs off. Quite surprised!

Food today:
1/2 avocado on toast
Jacket potato, cheese, salad and Pear & Walnut chutney
Snacks - Yoghurt and fruit.
That pear and walnut chutney was amazing with the jackpot and salad. It really made all the difference and had lovely chunks of walnuts. Shame I live so far from the farm shop I got it from in Wales while on holidays.

Pleased to report a first month loss of 10.4 lbs.
There's no real structure to my diet, I'm just taking it one day at a time.

Food today:
1x HM bread and butter (naughty but very nice
)
Spaghetti Bolognese with a little garlic bread
Snacks - Few crackers, fruit
DS cooking dinner during his lunch hour (he works from home) as DH has done his back in. This doesn't bode well for all the jobs I had lined up for him as he started 4 days off this morning.

One month in and I'm reporting a 1 lb gain.
Quite surprised there's only one purple fella to put on the list against my negative progress as, early in the month, I gave up recording my food intake and have over-indulged in chocolate as welll as having a weekend away with more and bigger meals than I normally have.
February is a short month but I don't have time away so it may fare better than January.7 -
