Don't tell me your troubles (Ive got troubles of my own) Shakin Stevens
Ugh. 210 quid down and my car still decides to keep playing up. I don't know whether to laugh or chuffing cry, either way the stress is really not helpful at the moment 😭. Stop the world I'd like to get off now please.
The weekend was atleast a low spend weekend and a NSD.today. I toyed with the idea of picking up some extra hours in the local pub just for the cash tbh but genuinely I don't think I have the capacity to spin many more plates than I am doing at the moment. I do have more overtime this month atleast which might help me claw back a bit of what I'm spending on my car.
My regular payments will start going out this week so that might cheer me up a bit as debts going down is always a welcome sight. Hopefully I'll find my positive pants tomorrow and be a bit more upbeat!
Hope everyone is doing ok
Lzzy

Although I've just done a quick look at my MSE scores and whilst I'm now doing 9 things well I've gone to 3 things to work on - one of which is "try using your credit well and spend a little and pay it off" 😂 thought I'd done too much spending on it in march which set me back atleast a month paying down my debt which is the other recommendation.
Some days you just can't win 😭😂Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

How annoying about the car!
Hope you feel a bit better today. I agree it's always nice seeing the numbers come down again in the new month."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Thank you both xx I didn't post yesterday because quite frankly I was utterly deflated but .....
Tubthumping Chumbawamba
We get knocked down but we get up again!
Today was due to be a NSD but dh and I decided to get a few bits in for garden projects over the weekend - I'm working (obviously, coz what else do I do!) but hopefully the weather holds and with the light evenings I can also get out there and help. I went through qu£dco and earnt the grand total of 40p back - superb 🤣 honestly I do sometimes wonder why my dsis raves about that site.
Although I have dark days sometimes I think before the LBM I should have probably had far far more moments than I did - even though things feel utter rubbish a lot/some of the time now I am actually in a better position now than then ..... it just feels all a bit blooming hard st the moment.
Much love and solidarity to all experiencing car troubles at the moment.... let's hope that this too passes xNov/Dec 24 £39 564

I do love how honest we can be in these diaries, it is hard but that's just the truth of it. We get through though, we make progress, we have better days.
The sunny days and lighter evenings definitely help.

I like to move it (move it) Reel 2 Real
In a desperate attempt to improve my mental health and despite the blooming gorgeous but hot weather, I did indeed Move it Move it this evening with a particularly vigorous home workout. I may ache and be unable to walk tomorrow 😂.
I did have to contact the gym today as despite ending my membership, they still took a payment for this coming month - having decided to sacrifice it I was less than impressed to be £47 down this morning. They are reimbursing me though (phew).
A NSD day today (huzzah) I think I shall count them this month as a bit of self encouragement. I shall also aim for some kind of daily exercise especially if this weather keeps up.
The less said about my car the better as it utterly depresses me even thinking about it - this may be a deciding factor work wise as the big JOB decision looms and I could get a car if I decide to go full time at one of them. The work/job decision is also stressing me out and probably isn't helping my state of mind. Still after physically knackering myself hopefully I may sleep a bit tonight atleast and I keep praying for a bit of divine intervention 😂
Thank you to everyone that comments on here - I really do appreciate it. Lzzy x

And now I have scenes from Madagascar in my head. I really shouldn't read your diary right before sleep or when I first wake up 😂

Here I Go Again - Whitesnake
Happy long bank holiday weekend everyone - unsurprisingly muggins here is working extra (shocking I know) but I hope everyone else has nice plans!
I managed another personal NSD today although tomorrow I will need petrol out the petrol pot for my beleaguered car but I am not dwelling on that tonight and instead i shall tell you that tonight i completed another (free!) home workout 😁.
Eldest yoof though has managed to rip his school trousers which is likely beyond repair and his trainers seem to have fallen to pieces so I was less than impressed with him tbh. The kids clothes pot will need to be raided which is a pain as youngest will need a full new set of uniform come September due to moving up and I was hoping this would be full enough to cover it without needing extra.
Mr T delivered the groceries this evening - slightly more as I did order some alcohol which I am hoping will ensure no pub trip this weekend. I can but live in hope 😅 Anyway I should get some sleep - apparently it's going to be a busy one work wise (oh rapturous joy) so I may well need a beer tomorrow night which means an early start to wiggle in either some weights or a run before I start.Nov/Dec 24 £39 564
