Seasons in the Sun - i can only remember the westlife version, but Google tells me that the original was by Terry Jacques.
Life continues to be incredibly testing (everytime I think well it can't get any worse someone somewhere shouts Hold my Beer). Definitely a season I'll be eventually grateful to see the back of tbh. Currently I'm only still standing upright due to the support of dh,family and close friends and ive aged what feels like a million years in a few months.
Ive actually had to spend money this month which makes me feel really uncomfortable 😂 a suit for eldest yoof, bit on the garden, a bit on me (health/ wellness reasons). But unlike old Lzzy this is all cash flowed and no debt incurred.
I don't know how much I will be able to update over the coming weeks although I'm reluctant to close my diary as it is a nice safe space to off load. It's car mot in 8days time so I may be back sobbing into a cuppa tea 😂
Love as always Lzzy x

so long as there’s a cuppa to sob into, there’s still something to be happy about. Take care

pop into your diary for a cuppa with or without sobs from time to time.
That's what friends are for. Dionne Warwick and friends (Elton, Gladys and Stevie are a pretty awesome group of friends but you've got your MSE chums)

I read seasons in the sun but my brain sang circle in the sand (Belinda Carlisle?).
Don't you dare leave me! Pop in whenever you can, no pressure. Have a moan, tell us a story, whatever you need to use the space for. I'm not a tea drinker but I can't imagine it tastes nice salty… beer maybe could handle a bit of salt?

I'll be OK - Mcfly
Shuffling in to say hello and see how everyone is.
So where am i. Well It has been a difficult few weeks in various different ways but, just like November Rain, nothing lasts forever and gradually there are little encouraging chinks of sunlight starting to peep through the storm clouds.
I have, after many many many jumping up and down emails/phone calls got my parent's stuff sorted (dear lord that was very taxing) - being tenacious and generally annoyingly persistent paid off 😂 and my dsis has been a trooper sorting all the medical side out.
Work have come up with some partial solutions to the staffing catastrophe and school exams are behind us bar 1 music one next week.
MOT was this week and MY CAR PASSED HALLELUJAH (surprisngly tricky word to spell at this time of the morning) but realistically I do need to start looking at a suitable replacement. I have though continued to save like a squirrel for it and the budget will be the cash budget that I have. No HP/PCP/loans for me.
I have started to close gradually my ccs which is definitely new territory for me - I struggled how to do one of them on the app hahaha. But I don't use them, I don't need to use them and I don't want to use them. Pointless having them kicking around with a zero balance and whilst I absolutely have not been tempted to use them, I am cautious that once an overspender could mean always an overspender so why risk it.
Hope everyone is doing ok
Lzzy xx

Great news on the MOT and getting your parents stuff sorted.
