Afternoon all xxIt's been a little warmer today so I was able to spend some time pottering around in the garden in some sunshine which was a welcomed blessing. I also managed to send off an item and collect a couple of items from the inpost locker this morning whilst taking the dog for a walk, so 3 birds, 1 stoneThis afternoon I managed to colour coordinate all the clothes I have left & actually wear in my now decluttered wardrobe. I also had enough energy, with some help, to move the bedroom furniture ready for a good Spring clean tomorrow morning.I will also be fully venturing behing doors 2 & 3 of the super large spare wardrobe tomorrow. I've found a pile of handbag dust covers which I'd put in a black plastic sack, so I'll be dust bag wrapping all the handbags and cleaning & drying the 2 large storage compartments in the spare wardrobe ready to re-store them all correctly - I'm planning on listing all those for sale in the Autumn, as they'll make super quality Christmas gifts
My daughter & I have agreed that any proceeds from any sales of bags will go towards a short away break for us, so that's something to look forward to
I'm now off to heat up some lovely homemade soup to eat before I need to go back to bed and rest for a few hoursHoping everyone is having a great decluttering day xx~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 19/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing19 -
Art teacher sneakily decluttered a number of magazines to each of us in class. Art magazines so appropriate but I don't need them really and I know it will be difficult for me to chuck them away!!
Meanwhile I have chucked on polo neck on the basis that having put it on clean the other day it was obvious that I'd spilt something very greasy on it as there was a great big splotch mid chest. Cold weather meant it was not visible to anyone but I thought bin it now before it gets washed again!
I've also decluttered a substantial amount of ££ to the lovely electrician who has sorted out our dimmer switches - no more popping light bulbs or disco type flashing light displays!! Only took nearly 6 years!!! He'll be coming back to fit some lights on the front of the house too. It's funny how you find people to do jobs like this - there's a local social media site and this guy posts most days with something fun or silly or very historic locally. Never nasty like some jokes people will post. So I figured he sounds nice so what the heck. He did one small job first and was good, prompt, tidy hence having him back for more and more. Though hopefully after the next job I won't need to see him for a few years at least!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Cooker cleaned of yesterday’s mess. Sold an item that has been on to do list for a number of years and delivered it to its new owner as we were passing today anyway - so that’s a frog done and it feels a huge relief to have finally done it and it no longer needs to be moved around from room to room to get it out of the way.

Got the bus to the hospital - checked at reception that Mr F was in same unit. Got there to find - he had gone for a head mri.
The head ct scan showed nothing untoward so that was why they decided on the mri.
A different consultant came to see Mr F - going to prescribe a muscle relaxant as he is rigid.
Mr F had been on a nebuliser as secretions had built up because of his inability to cough.
They set the feeding tube up and then he needed to go on oxygen as his stats were low.
Mr F also still has a low temperature so has an electric pump blow up blanket over him.
He hadn't needed so much mouth suction today.
Next to visit was a Neurological consultant - he tested Mr F's reflexes - no response. Dr had seen the initial head mri results which show no stroke.
Ward is emptying - they can't admit anyone due to the Noro Virus outbreak.
C came to visit Mr F while I was there and prayed.
There has been no sound from Mr F since Friday.
He has lost 6 pounds since I weighed him 2 weeks ago.
So Mr F is no better - in fact - worse and no diagnosis.
It is so worrying and stressful.

Oh my Florenceem, it sounds so bad for Mr. F. Hope they can find the problem soon. It has to be extremely frightening for you. Stay safe, warm, and dry and take good care of yourself. We are all sending you hugs and prayers.15

@florianatwobob thank you for the link for candle ends.
@Florenceem keeping you and Mr F in my thoughts and prayers
I haven’t posted for a few days, as I tackled several frogs 🐸🐸🐸🐸 which took my energy. Also I’m not good in cold weather, so I took myself off to the TLC carriage where I enjoyed the culinary delights taken there by the Talented Declutterati Cooks: you are all so very accomplished! 👩🍳🧑🍳🍪 And generous too! Thank you 💐
No decluttering done so far this week, beyond the minimum routine essentials. Tomorrow won’t be very productive on the house front either, as I have an afternoon appointment at the Eye Hospital, where I hope to get an appointment to declutter a cataract sometime this year.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️
