Oh dear @weenancyinAmerica you seem to be surrounded by idiocy at the moment. I hope you keep your head up. @wishus that’s why I don’t count because it sets me up to feel a failure. We are only on day 14 of the year, so you have done 1 per day. See every single one as a victory. You’ve got this👍 Lovely paintings @Flowerpot. Oh to be so talented. Everyone is doing so well. Don’t compare yourself to others just celebrate each item out. Rome wasn’t built in a day!!! Have a good one all18

Been into town with a trolley and bag full for the charity shop Didn't count but lots leaving the house.
C phoned to ask about Mr F.
It was so fraught here that I hadn't opened a Christmas present until 2 days ago - lovely tin of shortbread - I am enjoying them with a cup of tea.
I have sorted 2 bags in my craft room.
I am stopping the Vinte - C wants me to and I feel I have done enough on there for SA.
Getting ready to go out again.19 -

Hi, I hope you are getting enough rest, enjoy your shortbread.Just reminded me I oo have some shortbread I was given a nice tin at Christmas, will try it out when I come back from town. I hope your OH is getting plenty of treatment and will soon be better x
Just going to a new knit and craft group this afternoon at Ryde Library, so looking forward to that. I will take some read paper backs with me to go into the charity shop when I go, I have 6 to go so not too heavy to carry as I will go on the bus.
Thursday I have a coffee morning to go to in St helens ,nothing like some coffee and cake with a view of the sea and a bit of a natter.
The weather although cold, is crisp and dry and the sun is out and even some blue sky here.I'll be glad when the light evenings arrive January is such a looong dark month I think after all the brightness of Christmas.
Keep warm and dry if you can chums

London_1 - I am getting sleep but keeping busy during the day.
Mrs SD - is it me or has the train slowed?
I walked into town again to the charity shop and to post parcels. Done 7,000 steps so far today.
I have my trolley filled and a bag next to it in the hall ready for tomorrow's walk into town.
SA is closed today.
I am collecting my new glasses tomorrow morning - had to cancel that last week when I couldn't leave Mr F.
I haven't decided about going to SA lunch club tomorrow yet.18 -
@Florenceem Shhh, you'll wake the driver and we will be off at rocket speed again! I need it to stay slow so I have half a hope of keeping up!
Have had email to say Local Authority Search has been received - hopefully I can soon declutter this entire house!❀ debt at highest point: £51,062.14 ❀❁ currently - £32,019.56 ❁ emergency fund - £252.66/£500 ❁----------------------------------------------------------------------

- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
11:45 Up & dressed after a couple more hours sleep 🙂 It is a bit dull outside with temperatures set to rise to 8°C with a low of 4°C although it feels colder than yesterday 🤨 Back to the cheerleading:
Muddy_Walker, sometimes it just happens like that “Helloooooo! I was going great guns and then…..all my energy just fell away 😥” perhaps it is your body’s way of telling you that you have done too much 🧐 Shame about missing the birthday meal 😔 hopefully it can be rescheduled for when you are feeling more like yourself 🤞Good decluttering especially dealing with a couple of frogs 👏 Hopefully with you on the case, the doctor will prescribe some more antibiotics so that hubby’s recovery will resume 🙏 Sorry but I have to bring out the ‘wagging finger emoji’ to express my disapproval at This “MrsSD please don’t worry about responding to my posts individually…..it’s mostly drivel 😁” although I appreciate the big grin 😁
BlueJ94, great pictures 🙂 although I would say that track looks very muddy 😉 After an hour’s dog walking you are going to the gym 😰 That is a lot of exercise 😉 so am wondering if you are in training for an event?
Brambling, not sure that after 5 hours of online training, I would have the brain power left to do any decluttering 😉 Hope the webinar goes well 🤞
Excellent decluttering Tjh1412 👏 Shame that your DD has shared her cold with you but at least it meant you had a bit of a rest & gave yourself some TLC 😉 Hope you feel better soon 🤞
Welcome back Pennypincin 👋 lovely to see you 😊 The EDT is moving so fast you are lucky to have caught up 😉
Florenceem, I am so sorry to hear that MrF is not showing signs of improvement 😢 Cwtches for both you & MrF 🤗
florianatwobob, first odds & ends of candles, now pens & pencils 🥹 How lovely to bump into family when out & even more lovely that none of you were in a hurry to get/be somewhere else & had time to spend decluttering “gossip & cake” ☺️
Another page caught up 🥳 plus the sun has put in an appearance in a sky that is now mostly blue 😉 just saying ……….. Whilst I was in the kitchen making myself a cuppa I emptied the top shelf of my food cupboard as I am determined to do some decluttering 😉 DH is finally up 🥳 I am still cheerleading posts dated the 12th
oceanspirit, sounds like you need to start emptying the freezer 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏 I like that you plan your reading order of books - shows that decluttering is always at the forefront of your thinking 😊 This “Drawers need going through at some point but will get the whole place tidy first as don’t want lots more stuff lying around.” is a great idea 👏 & This “Last week’s lists used as firelighters……” is very MSE 😊
Lovely chatty post London_1 😊 I always enjoy reading your posts because you are so generous in ‘sharing’ your family 🥹 Talk about a busy Sunday 🤩 The morning spent decluttering more than 50% of your drawers & the afternoon spent decluttering photos 👏 Definitely merits a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way 🙂 The tale of your wind-up Kodak brownie was lovely & I am so pleased to hear that it is still in your possession 😊 Not a digression, just a lovely memory 🥹 Hopefully you were successful in finding the ‘secure key’ yesterday 🤞I hope that your eldest DD & her OH had an uneventful flight home from New York 🤞Twelve days doesn’t seem anywhere near long enough to spend having fun with a lively 18 month old 😉 Although having said that they are both probably exhausted & slept through the whole flight 😁
Excellent decluttering DundeeDoll 👏 I really like This idea “i am aiming to get through every item of food that was in the cupboards, fridge or freezer by the end of the year.” Not only a great idea for decluttering but very MSE 🥳 Good luck 🍀
Broke off to have lunch - DH & I finished the last of the hm soup.
Nic to see you Fizz2015 👋 Sounds like you had a great time last weekend 😊 I have made a note of your Aims for 2025 & wish you every success 😊
EcoIntent, please remember that ‘decluttering’ encompasses more than just physical items 😉 The list of tasks you were preoccupied with are all types of decluttering e.g. cleaning is decluttering dust etc, meal planning declutters the need for decision making & so on 😊
Celebrating again as I am now cheerleading posts dated the 13th 💃
Dizzycap, very impressed at how much decluttering you have done from your wardrobe 🤩 Excellent work 👏 Good luck with the sales 🍀
Brambling, apologies but I did have to smile at This “I'm getting some stick from the older siblings as it's the 'baby' who needs a hip replaced and they all have all their joints 🙄 especially as the oldest one is 24 years older than me.” 😁
Liverpool_Anne, you had been very busy in the days leading up to Sunday so I am not at all surprised that you were tired 😪 Lucky niece 😉 28°C is just about perfect 😍
End of another page so will post this & be back later 👋 I do hope that everyone is being as lucky with the weather as I am 🤞

Escaping to the TLC carriage for some of the nice teas and perhaps a biscuit.. Real life is 😮💨 at the moment.
Hugs and spoons as always for those in need.. 🤗 🥄I have some 🐸 ‘s that have crept in, need to dissect and clear..
1) Clear 2 x boxes of clothes, either Vinty, charity, or rag..
2) Go through books in front room.. again, list, charity or friend
3) Begin the declutter of at least 40lb.. 😭 menopause and ill health has not been kind these last few years!
4) Paperwork clear through, fairly good.. just needs upkeep!
Will leave some strawberry shortcake when I leave the carriage 😉"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

My head immediately added 'and Custard the Cat'!
Lots of skip filling progress from outside. I walked round the garden several times and poked round the side of things just to make sure I had picked up all of the hidey holes. I had to do quite a lot of rose pruning to get to some of it but that will not do any harm at this time of the year. The roses prunings filled one of the newly emptied green waste bins, and the skip is now at about 90% full, with some rotten fencing to put on the top once I am done.
Also filled a couple of black bags from DS bedroom while he was out. He clearly inherited the 'keep everything' gene.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++
