Lost my post a couple of times, can't recall now who said what but @vulpix hope your toe is getting better and good luck with the move.
Wanted to post yesterday that I was proud of myself, took photos of posh trousers and skirt to then list and decided to just put in CS bag, and used the time to make dinner. I don't cook much now just me.
Have dropped off batteries, cable in donation bag, can't remember if I reported the oodie, too a photo of one room of doom. Moved many things - mostly elsewhere or packed more sensibly but some textile recycling, and decided to keep a table lamp - old handpainted wooden but checked it works but need to find a shade which will work.
Towel put aside for animal rescue. meant to be booking a trip but trying to find implications if I take some unpaid leave when go to visit DD2 in Oz, as there is the potential for redundancy (not sure how likely but along with many many others waiting to see plans by organisation).
Enjoying the 'micro spaces of calm' which appear.
Told dd2 new fridge/freezer will arrive and much smaller than old double one to which she said ' there will be space what will you put there'. I said I would find something or we could have ' space'... I think the Japanese call it 'ma'.
TV being picked up tomorrow.
Will clear dining table tomorrow and sort insurance during lunchtime as wfh. And see if I can find more in the CS bag which could be dropped off. Lever arch file and lots of plastic wallets to bank of things last week which I may not have counted.
Just added a tea towel to bag as have far too many.
DD1 didn't want food processor and noticed some bits missing so put back high up out of way and if I find other parts may pass on.
Hope everyone has enjoyed warmer weather and starts the week well.
Off to put the thicker duvet back !14 -
Rounding nos, and may be being generous but then I do forget things that I've lost/disposed of 1650.13

Good evening. Nothing decluttered over the weekend. Yesterday we emptied everything out of what will be DD2s room and DH has started to lay the floor. We were going to move DD into it (floor had to be down though as she has so much stuff) and then decorated around her when we had time but as its completely empty, we might just go for it.
There is soooo much stuff in the dining room now, it HAS to be sorted.
Today we took DC6 to Buxton to see their brother. We have never been before. Had a lovely time walking around the gardens. We did however, declutter a tyre on a country land when DH hit a rock. It managed to inflate it and get us home but its now down again so will need replacing tomorrow.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

My friend popped around yesterday morning and tackled my hallway which she was itching to do, I was happy to agree to her coming around to do it 😁 it was becoming a gathering ground of all my jackets and shoes even those out of season and a lot of carrier bags dropped off and left for later 🙄
I've no before picture but here's the after, ignore the hairbrush. The chair was the one my mum always used as her dining chair, with two cushions on as the seat needs redoing, I think it was horse hair. She always called it grandads chair but I was never sure if that was my granddad or hers? I inherited it 13 years ago with a plan to have it fixed, seeing it now looking so tidied has made me find a local man who reupholsters and restores and I'll call him tomorrow. The seat was my one from the car used when my hip was uncomfortable to drive with I'm dropping it off with a friend on Wednesday. The red behind the chair are four items for charity which I'll drop off tomorrow so it does linger for too longTickets booked tonight for my sister and I to go and see Leonardslee Lights in December as members it only cost £1.25 booking fee a perk of the annual ticket, we really enjoyed what they did last year and I will be able to enjoy it pain free this year.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin14 -
I haven’t posted for a week or so as my Mum has been in hospital with a blood clot on the lung and it’s been a bit hectic. She’s home now with injections to sort it out but she is much more poorly than a couple of weeks ago. Her immunotherapy hasn’t worked, so one more go of radiotherapy and then we are out of options.
DD didn’t get Head Girl, she is a bit disappointed but being quite stoic about it.
Shed is now back up on it’s lovely new concrete base, putting it back up was as hard as getting it down but my front room no longer looks like a jumble sale, so I’ll take that for the win that it is! I’ve sorted through some of the boxes and the shed is mainly organised, one side is done but we need to get the shelves for the other side back out of the container and that is a job for another weekend. It may be a couple of weeks as DH and I are both working next weekend, different days thankfully and I’m also working the next couple of Saturday’s after that.
Quite a bit of decluttering but not much out of the house yet, so 1.5 bags of miscellaneous stuff to the charity shop, it did include a frightening amount of children’s coat hangers, I don’t know how we have accumulated so many!
So a new total of 249/104 (312)

Liverpool Anne, your sister is very lucky to have you. Crutches are hard work. The times I have had them I am more at risk of doing further injury to myself.
Oh dear Sticky, your poor Mum.xx
Give us a wave next time you go to Buxton Charlies tribe. You had a lovely day for it.
Done nothing today other than cleaning inside some drawers, laundry and lots of crochet . 3 and 2 halves of lap blankets done. I only have enough wool for probably 4 more. Used up a huge amount of mostly donated wool this year. All I have left to do is clean the fridge freezer. 8 days till the move. Seems like time has slowed down.
The bruising on my foot is coming out, My toe is much less painful. I am tempting fate by still walking about bare foot. I can't face shoes yet.

Sunday was a crisp, bright & dry autumn day with a high of 16°C & a low of 9°C & a moderate if chilly breeze. I watched the last of the athletics & we managed another 2 medals but no golds ☹️ Just thinking that the World Athletics Championship should be renamed The American & Other Countries Athletics Championship 😅 I was feeling ultra lazy today so whilst I was watching The Walking Dead I completed the last third of a Sudoku puzzle book 🙂 I did cook a roast dinner - pork with crackling, roast potatoes, parsnips & carrots, cabbage + gravy made by DH. Yummy 😋 🤤 Also chopped up all the bottom of fridge vegetables & will be making soup tomorrow. Wudupa.

Will now have a session of cheerleading starting with Friday’s posts:
_Dolly_Rocker_ well done on such a busy start to Friday 👏 & yippee to the washing smelling lovely after the 2nd wash 😮💨
vulpix, sorry to hear that Wednesday’s exertions led to you being “fit for nothing” 😔 although I would have to disagree with your assessment after all you sanded, hoovered & painted 👏 That mattress sounds very awkward 😕 Well done to your solicitor for getting the 30th as your moving date 👏🥳 sounds like she deserves 💐 & a stiff drink 🍷 Of course because I am behind with the cheerleading it is only just over a week until you move 😉 Sorry to hear that DD2 has been unwell 😞 hopefully she is on the mend now 🙏
BlueJ94, This “So im just looking at my offers etc due to trying to get rid of this debt.. NOW IM NOT APPLYING.. but the Apr seems so much better than my previous loans. Funny isnt it, you could be so far in debt and you can still get a 6k loan?!” beggars belief 😳 No wonder some people struggle to get out of debt 😞
TC77, curious to know if you did go swimming on Thursday 🧐
suzeesu2000, you might have had a quiet Thursday but you still managed to do some digital decluttering & also some financial decluttering 👏 How lovely to have 2 great phone conversations ☺️ Pity about having to some shopping 🙁 but am I correct in thinking that you managed 2 weeks without any shopping 🤔 This “Hope you’re all ready for a great weekend, supposed to be the last dry and sunny one with wet, cooler weather forecast for next week. As a lover of winter and autumn, I can’t wait. Oh, heard on Classic FM radio that we should be seeing some stunning leaf colours this autumn due to the abundance of warm dry weather this year. We shall see. Autumn is when Mother Nature wears her prettiest clothes. Love it.” 😊 in hindsight we had a lovely hot day on Friday, Saturday not so good but Sunday was a true autumn day 🥳
Lovely post dND 😻 Excellent decluttering 👏 another medal 🏅 is on its way😊 Pleased to hear that you are noticing at least a little difference 🙂 Sorry to hear about your back 😞 I do hope you rested it on Friday 🙏 Good luck with your family tree 🍀
QueenJess, This “Whereas I don’t have any credit card debts and struggle to get a tiny increase in my credit card limit 🤷♀️” sounds very familiar 😞 The CC companies really don’t like prompt & full settlement of CC bills as they are not earning any interest.
vulpix, sorry to hear This “Read in a Victor Meldrew voice. I don't believe it ! I have broken my toe.” 😫 I do hope you are on the mend 🙏 My initial thought was that it is an extreme way of distracting yourself from the knee pain 😥 Great work packing up the rest of the kitchen (apart from what you are using 👏
daisy_1571, This “V I read that as you were using your toe as an excuse to play croquet. Unusual therapy for a broken toe i thought then reread 😆” is hilarious 🤣 I had to go back & reread 😉
BlueJ94, good luck with clearing the CC debts 🍀 This “It's like they want people to struggle who are already in debt!” is sad but true 😞 Love the mug 🙂 Very MSE with the powder 👏
GrannyKate, yippee to the plastering being finished 🥳 Fingers crossed that the plumber turns up soon & can make quick & efficient repairs 🤞 A belated Happy Birthday 🎂 🎉 💐 Well done on the gardening & filling the bin 👏 Good luck dealing with more frogs 🍀
Just noticed the time so will post & head off to bed. No more athletics to keep me up all night 🤭 so no excuse not to sort out my sleeping patterns 😉 Sleep tight everyone 😴

Hi all, up early today as I have a medical thing and then I am going for a hair cut 😁 but I want to try to speak to my Dsis before I head out.
Yesterday was a goodish day. 3 LDFPA, sweep round and filled then emptied the bathroom bin and the lr bin. A bit of a sort out in the kitchen and 6 jam jars washed and dried and passed to ln for her friend who makes jam. Did some financial juggling and we had veggie roast for tea 😁. Just did some crochet after tea.
@StickyTheStickInsect big hugs for your Mum and you
Right I had better get weaving or the early start will be gone 😁
Hugs to everyone who would like one
1293 - 1295 LDFPA
1296 bathroom bin
1297 lr bin
1298 - 1303 jam jars
Take care everyone

@BlueJ94 I hope you go to bed early! I've been waking up 5.30 which is tooo early as I go to bed quite late.
@Brambling the hall looks great, and I love the chair.
Mrs SD I didn't go swimming and can't get my mojo back for that. Meant to be at aqua aerobics tonight which is 8 whereas swimming is 9 (need it quiet as I do backstroke) but that's quite late. Also when trying to work out why my lovely white pillow cases are going yellow apparently going to sleep with wet hair means the natural oils are easier to soak into the pillow case (not sure how true this is).
Decorators back and found a crack small pane of glass but cost of replacement is ouch!
Hoping to get some frogs done at lunch time and may get to drop stuff off at the cs after work as closes 6pm
