Brie said:BlueJ94 said:Afternoon all! Sorry not posted just got back from a short weekend camping in the van, wet and windy! Dogs enjoyed it too!
I generally got the harnesses due to the handle so if ever needed I can carry them around without hurting them and I can hold them back using the handles too!
That's ok, I have a cat also!
Edited as i forgot to add, the only issues I've had with the K9 harness is that one of the plastic buckles snapped and theyre not replaceable and for £40/45 per harness depending on size it annoyed me a little but I believe they've changed the design in the last couple of months. The handle has never got damaged or tears etc, its a real sturdy harness. So today has been very busy. Lots to declutter but it's not left the house yet so I cant count it. I was up at 8 o clock painting our window wall so that the plumber could come and fit new radiator in a different place. He texted this morning and asked if he could do it tonight. I didn't feel we could argue as he was doing it as a favour. The guy who has put together our hearth and was blocking off out chimney arrived to do that too. Mid morning I received another email from fire surround company saying they had no alternative than to cancel the order and try to sell it to someone else. I was so angry that I wrote them and email right back telling them what I thought. Checked it with DH before I sent it and he asked me if I would like him to edit it.( I was getting ready for craft group and really didn't have the time) As I was ready to leave DH read me his newly written email which said all of the things that I had wanted to convey but in a much more professional manner. We await further correspondence from them!!!!!!!!
Anyway a huge box that held the new radiator and lots of unnecessary pipework to get rid of.
The room is coming together and I am getting very excited. The photo just give a little glimpse. Lots more painting to go yet.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Monday continued: I did go out 🥳 Bus to CW where I banked Premium Bond winning cheques & withdrew some cash. Then bus to surgery (accidentally got off a stop early so had some unexpected exercise 😉) I have an appointment with a Practice Nurse as I need a blood test. Pharmacist needs to see results before issuing a new prescription for BP meds which are running out. I did explain to the receptionist that I can be contacted on my landline as the mobile no. is for Emergencies ONLY. Arrived home just before DH (he had gone for a walk) Spent the next 30 minutes sorting out my finances including adding October’s 1p Challenge monies to Terramundi pot & updating my calendar. The receptionist appears to have ignored the information I provided & a text was sent to DH’s phone - much to his annoyance 😖 requesting I go online & use the text ref. to contact a Dr to book a blood test 😞 I will mention again tomorrow. DH was on an 800kcal day so dinner for me & DSis was cold pork, mash & baked beans. Wudupa.

Great post florianatwobob 👏 although a huge ouch 😫 to your sliced toe.
Liverpool_Anne, you certainly had a full week so how nice to have a blank diary on Sunday 😊 Fingers crossed that your DSis has her op on Monday 🤞& hopefully she will surprise you all & quickly learn how to use crutches 🙏 Although having said that, it sounds like her husband needs a lot of training before she goes home 😞 Now that your DNiece is extending her stay, hopefully she can get her dad ready to look after her mum 🙏 The comedienne sounds very funny - I love observational comedy 😊 Lovely cheerleading ☺️ Good luck with the financial juggling 🍀
BlueJ94, good luck with the laundry 🍀 Hope you managed to get the washing dry outside 🤞
Excellent decluttering Willowtree222 👏 Good luck with your listings 🍀
Not made much of a dent in the cheerleading but I am nodding off so heading to bed. Sleep tight 😴

I think I am going to have to get myself a load of sand and pretend I am on vacation somewhere. It is supposed to be 29C tomorrow - and for the rest of the week above 26C. We have no air conditioning here - just a couple of fans. None of my roommates are well at the moment (okay 1 is drunk). Trying to keep the cats fed and watered this morning and getting the kitchen cleaned up. Then had our Friends of the Library meeting today. Roommate Di had to go home mid-meeting as ill using our car (mine really) May need to do some cleaning in it tomorrow. Since I was running the meeting -and it wasn't a contagious kind of ill - I took her notes for her (Secretary) and then the Treasurer drove me home. Did get two trash cans filled after feeding the cats their evening meal - very important according to the three of them. Decided to take it easy and finished reading a book. Still too hot.13

Morning, quick update , car key for car written off last summer and par of smoke alarm out and some ood food. Went to see CS my favourite for donations closed and another being refurbished so brought home. Forgot to take
library books with me to gym ( really library closed),
Nearly forgot charity picked up tv and remote.
Think have to get council to pick up single mattress as no takers. Need to get a new double mattress but no idea where from. Get emails from dream cloud but mixed reviews as for nearly everything.
Keep putting off booking a trip , going on my own but conscious it may be time work finally consult on changes although they have to give 45 days and I won't be away that long.
Not sure what to tackle at lunchtime as getting abit less obvious but still need to as tripping over things sometimes- laptop cable...
Some is carelessness/cclumsines which makes clear space more important

Morning all. DGS4 back at school but his sister and older brother and DIL have all got this year's welcome back to school bug. Surgery left a message for me so I guess they want to talk about blood test results. I need to get back on the serious diet.
897-9 Random selection of frogs done
900 Banking done and bills paid
901 Bedroom cleaned and bedding changed with help
902 Plastics dropped off at SM
903 I have decluttered blood sugar level to almost normal but cholesterol still borderline
904 Tin of undercoat decluttered - almost full but definitely gone off
I thought I had decluttered large pot of tile adhesive but DS2 used some and brought it back. He also brought stuff to put in my loft which is fine. It is huge and I have almost nothing up there - mostly photos and pictures.
@brie - re the rotting fish. Our black retriever cross (long fur) many years ago loved anything smelling. We were camped in our caravan near the beach when he found a rotten fish which he rolled in ignoring our shouts to leave it. We washed him off as best we could but it was not good having him in the caravan that night.
Right decorating is calling.

The Bags of Joy have started. Not going to count every item in each bag, I like to make sure the recipient gets a good bag of goodies and I’m classing as neutral as quite a few of the items I have had all year esp for the bags, or have been collecting all year when you can pick up items cheaper. Means funds can go further and more bags completed.
