Stayed indoors out of the sun today. Made a start on the next bag of papers from the living room - several recycled and a few shredded.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅12

DSis and I completed a surprise attack on the cupboard under the stairs. It was a surprise to both the cupboard and us as we didn’t realise it was happening until there was ‘stuff’ all over the front room floor! 😂However there has been stuff put to one side for charity, some shredding shredded and associated envelope & bumpf into the paper recycling.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Morning, I was in another part of se london for appt yesterday and popped into the local.cs (plural), saw an unusual 50s.italian coffee set which I gave to charity about 4 years back and resisted buying it but succumbed to some plain glass expresso cups, a turquoise glass vase and some travel books. All can go as donations if I don't use but it meant I looked out more to declutter so 5 small and medium paint test pots out so reached 50 as not counting ins.
Finding it hard to resist ins and have travel books from the past couple of weeks- travel is a plan for next couple of years and I assume.key places won't have changed if books are this century. When I get these from the library I never get to read and these I can use sticky notes etc.
Hope to do a couple of frogs before going to a NT place with friends- too hot really but we have free tickets and debating if too mse!14 -
Hello all - checking in between my two holidays. I had a great trip to Edinburgh with DGS1 and we saw lots of things. We had a lovely hour to view a portrait of my 5 x great grandfather in a restricted area of the Uni which I had an arranged and we shared information with the curator. Toured Royal yacht which was actually really worthwhile. I managed to fall on the first two days so DGS1 got very strict with me about my stick coming everywhere with me. Lovely flat at back of Holyrood Palace looking across the park and Arthur's Seat. Top floor of a tenement block but I was ok with the stairs.
Filling garden pool up for DGCs - hopefully only once as we are strict with filters, keeping it clean etc. Sox is viewing it with great suspicion. he moved to sleeping on my bed while I was away - that was where my son found him when he called in every morning. He has continued since I got back. Lovely gardener came yesterday so more money decluttered so everything looks great. New neighbours organised fence and it looks really good.
Busy weekend as DGD4 was 13 this week. Out for tea later as my treat. I need to get motivated but it is too hot. Everything washed and put away from last week but now I need to pack for Portugal next Sunday.
591 Money decluttered for my share of fencing and gardener.
592-4 Three jackets of DGS4's to CS bag
595-601 Six more shrubs stripped out of garden and taken away along with all their roots by gardener
602 Cherry tree cut down for 15 plus feet to about 10 and pruned into shape - looks good.
603 Two bags of cuttings and weeds to recycling
604 Potting shed tidied - two bags of plastic pots and general tat to bin
I walked 75000 steps in four and a half days away but still seem to have put weight on again.
After and before in garden (They loaded the wrong way round). There is lots of very thick reinforced concrete to left of shed which will probably need to stay so I plan to use that area for pots.2025 Decluttering Campaign 733/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

That accident with the chidren getting hurt by that tree branch in the park was right by my house. I saw the air ambulances go over my garden and wondered what had happened. One little girl died, sadly. I'm in that park every day normally, but it was so hot that I didn't yesterday.
I haven't been doing any decluttering at all, but I did get a letter from a local charity shop saying how much my donations have raised and I have started making up another donation bag. It spurred me on to take action and I will take it next week.
It is so hot here again today. I have been using a neck fan at home and they are really quite effective. I only heard about them at a class the other day.2025 GOALS

Lots of traveling yesterday by boat, bus and lots of walking so having a little rest today. One bedroom blind binned. I can't seem to get the damp stains off of the lining so having treated all of the damp and buying dehumidifiers I am going to make some curtains for our bedroom window.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Sunday: Up at 09:00 - already hot & sunny but set to rise to 30°C with a low of 19°C - not a wisp of a breeze 🥵 I put the last wash-load on & brought in yesterdays 2 loads which I had left out overnight - folded but not put away. Spent the afternoon clearing down TV programmes - started from 52% capacity left & went up to 67%. Salad for dinner & unlike Saturday night (DSis washed up & left to dry) I wudupa. Discovered that DSis did some decluttering & dropped a bag of stuff at the CS + some recycling 🥳 I am counting as it is ‘stuff’ that has left the house 😉

vulpix, I see what you mean both about ‘good bones’ & the seller having a lot of packing to do 😉 I hadn’t realised you had only been in your current home for 4 years - with the amount of work you have done I thought it was longer 🤩 Just wondering if you are hiring a van & doing the removals yourself 🤔 Loved This “Anyway, this won't knit the baby a new bonnet” 😊
Lovely pictures regnbue 😊 It would appear you had some lovely weather & hopefully not too hot 🤞 Love the sign - useful & witty 😅

Morning all
I really hope everyone & their fur babies are managing to keep cool!
Up at silly o'clock after 1 hours sleep and took babyface for her early morning sprint / run / walk and managed to get back before it got far too hot at 18 degrees by 5am and 22 degrees at 6amLoads of dog walkers about at 4.30am and in the park aiming to get back before 5am CRAZY! Back doors and all windows already open with 2 loads of washing decluttered & pegged out on the line which will probably be dry by 9am
The usual decluttering parcels to go but as its so hot today, the postie's is coming to collect as I've got 2 very large heavy parcels to post amoungst others and I would need to do 3 delivery office trips, but I just haven't got the energy
My sanity for today is that it's the start of Wimbledon & babyface & me will be having a nice tepid shower; seperatelyWishing everyone a lovely cool day - Take care & ta-ta for now xxxxxbefore slobbing on the bed from 10am with the lovely cooler fan on enjoying the matches
We might even throw in some strawberries and cream during the afternoon matches - Not that I'll get much of a look in!
