We were looking at the trampoline yesterday as it didn't look right. DH went up to have a look and said the leg was out as the bottom u had corroded through. He lifted the padding and the whole side was snapped. DS2 uses it for hours every day. He's got SN and its his comfort. He had a complete melt down. We were looking at replacing it once the garden was done anyway as its very well used but might have to be done sooner than we thought. DH has started dismantling it.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

TC, kept my legs straight for the sit ups.
Knee feels a bit easier today. It hasn't popped out, it felt like something burst inside, just another complaint to add to my list! Razor blade throat has made a come back. Hope it's it's swan song. Think I have been running on adrenaline for a good while and just now able to start decompressing.
Sadly my sight hasn't come back,it never will as the optic nerve is dead. the test is to see if I have enough overall vision and peripheral vision to be able to safely drive. I don't know if they will tell me after the test or if I will have to wait for the DVLA to contact me. If I am able to drive again I have already decided I won't be night driving, or in heavy rain ,or, or, or if there's an R in the month! etc, etc. It would just be useful in an emergency to be able to drive. Public transport is quite restricted here.
What a shame about your little lad's trampoline Charlie's tribe. I hope you can replace it for him.
Treated myself to a new nightie yesterday for my holidays later in the year. It's not often I see the style I like so pushed the boat out. I only have 2 others on rotation so won't be getting rid of any. Also bought some new towels in Tesco sale. Again won't be getting rid of any, we only have 4 on rotation and they will be good for years yet! The new ones are for guests that we will host in our imaginary new house.
I am about to go in the spare room and do some packing.
Have a good day chums. Vx:13 -

Tuesday: what a difference in the weather ☹️ Overcast & very windy plus some light rain. Up at 11:30 feeling a bit washed out even though I slept quite well. Ernie wasn’t so kind this month - zero for DH but I won £25 😊 Last night I watched the first episode of “Our Guy in Vietnam” - Guy Martin touring Vietnam. A very interesting watch, with a completely different perspective 🧐
charlies_tribe, lovely ideas for using up wool/yarn 😊 Such a shame about the trampoline but thank goodness you & DH noticed that there was something wrong before there was an accident 😮💨 Hopefully it won’t take too long to get a new one 🙏 so that DS2 can resume his daily activity 🥹
oceanspirit, hope the headache has gone completely 🙏 Well done on the continued decluttering of magazines from the reading pile 👏
vulpix, whilst I was reading This “Knee feels a bit easier today. It hasn't popped out, it felt like something burst inside, just another complaint to add to my list! You & your family have had a very stressful few weeks 🥺 I will keep everything crossed that you get the all clear to drive 🤞 Yippee to treating yourself to a new nightie 🥳 I did have a little chuckle at This “…. Also bought some new towels in Tesco sale. Again won't be getting rid of any, we only have 4 on rotation and they will be good for years yet! DH has just commented that he is glad he went out yesterday as today’s weather is not really conducive to safe riding as it is so windy 😮💨 I am just having a 2nd cuppa before making a decision on a decluttering task 😉🤞Hope everyone has as good a day as possible 😊

Since the yard sale, I've listed a few things and 3 have gone so far. I had to stop the tidy-declutter today as the bin is fairly full, fortunately collection day is tomorrow. I'm still sorting through he filing cabinet on and off, but started a mending job - I've worn a hole on my favourite cardigan so have cut up an old T-shirt to patch it, and started hand-sewing it on. I've a zoom later in which I'll probably finish it.My DDs have been getting things out that I've already tidied, which is tiresome, one got out all the fabrics we have for making dens and dressing up, chucked all the packaging out of a long box I'd collected, and seems to have made a padded er... coffin? Obviously she's not put it, or the previous toy set away again!Decluttering awards 2025: 🏅🏅🏅⭐️ ⭐️, DH: 🏅⭐️ and one for Mum: 🏅11

Forgot to mention that I have cancelled milk deliveries for our RBR trip to Scotland which starts on Sunday 15th. I ended up doing absolutely nothing this afternoon. For dinner I used one of my HF recipe cards & made linguine with a tomato, sausage meat & spinach sauce. Delicious 🤤 Wudupa.
A fox visited the front garden tonight & I had some lo cooked chicken to feed him/her 😊 Of course that set me to thinking about Dizzycap & wondering how her family of foxes & the family of swans are doing 🤔

We had a couple of short showers today but no real rain. Sleep tight everyone 😴

@Soontobeoap - So I now have no Christmas savings because I used all my money to pay the CC debt off 6 months earlier than I had planned.
I can attempt to build that back up now that I am debt free!
So happy.Debt Free - 4th June 202513 -
