@Muddy-Walker - do you have automatic app updates on your phone or do you need to do them manually? I find that banking apps usually won't work if they need updating. I have had to reinstall a couple of times on one particular app. On that thought there are 22 apps needing updating on my phone and I know I cleared them last week.
I received a third appointment for ENT clinic - let's hope this doesn't get cancelled like the others. Mr Sox continues to sulk about the rain and is currently staring moodily out of the open window. Pre-diabetic clinic today - my weight is staying much the same so I need to concentrate harder on diet. I need to lose a lot more. I had another fencer out to quote but he can't do the work until August - I have been waiting since February for the first person who quoted to turn up. Tiler can't finish the kitchen until 3 July but I said I'd wait as he is good and prices fair. I've asked him if he can do ceiling and walls in bedroom 2 whilst GCs are away for a fortnight at beginning of school holidays.
New dishwasher is ordered for Monday - can't fix the very old one that was here. Paying extra so they disconnect old one, take it away and fit new one. DD has booked our trip to Helsinki in December so I need to pay my half. DSis is booking trip from USA to Dublin and Edinburgh for October so I may be going to Scotland a second time after my trip with DGS1 this month.
523 Committee papers done and sent out
524 All June cards purchased and some posted
525 Bag of plastics to SM
526 Took £75 worth of bagged up coins to bank to pay in - they were very heavy to carry from car park. They were part of my 1p challenge money - determined to collect the full amount this year as the yearly amount is almost exactly what I need for Christmas money envelopes for children and GCs.
527 A number of small admin frogs done
528 New railcard received and old one cut up
Right more paperwork to do before I go out and I need to write and post a diamond wedding card to DD's in laws.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Forgot to post yesterday 🙊 so here it is. Thursday was an overcast, rainy day with a chilly breeze & a forecast high of 17°C & low of 13°C. Menu plan done for 3 days & a shopping list written. DH will be deciding on 2 days meals whilst he is in the sm 🤞DH & DSis left just before 14:00 & I have taken the opportunity to clean the fridge as well as rearranging the contents. Shopping put away. Several light showers through the afternoon & evening. Dinner was spaghetti bolognaise. Wudupa. DSis & I watched an absolutely brilliant animated film called The Wild Robot 🥹

Thank you @Floss that's definitely something to try. I have found some like the ones used in schools and sports centres but at over 5k its not an option. Our other was rectangular so shape isn't a problem for him.
Spent this morning trying to tidy through in bursts as still not sleeping properly. I put the gift sets from under our bed on the free site yesterday and they've now been collected. Trying to be christmas prepared isn't always money savvy as I forgot they were there and ended up giving them away.

Friday is another overcast breezy day with a forecast high of 18°C & low of 11°C although no rain is forecast 🤞Straight into the cheerleading that I missed doing yesterday 😞
Excellent decluttering of clothing & bedding charlies_tribe 👏 Good luck with reaching a decision about the new trampoline 🍀 Whatever decision you reach I am sure your DS will be more than happy 🥹 Hopefully a shower will invigorate you but if not please remember the TLC Carriage is open 😉
TC77, a busy start to your Thursday 👏 Well done on dealing with frogs & the tidying up 👏 Especially impressed with This “…. my umbrella was in its home and my headphones so some progress!” & would classify as huge progress 🥳
suzeesu2000, sounds like the bathroom is coming along well & will hopefully be finished soon 🤞Excellent work sorting out more contents of kitchen cupboards 👏 Good luck cleaning & sorting the fridge 🍀
QueenJess, rather pleased to hear that you were going to have a “mainly relaxing day” yesterday, you have definitely earned it 😊 Fingers crossed that the micro greens germinate 🤞 Thank you for the encouragement to take up the “Use It Up June” challenge, I will try harder 🙂
Useful information Floss 👏
Muddy_Walker, pleased to hear that you managed to get access to your bank account 😮💨
GrannyKate, everything crossed that the third ENT appointment does NOT get cancelled 🤞 This “Mr Sox continues to sulk about the rain and is currently staring moodily out of the open window” made me smile 😃 just imagining the brooding look on Mr Sox’s face 😅 I hope that the pre-diabetic clinic goes well & that they can offer some useful advice re resuming the weight loss 🙏 Shame that the tiler can’t finish the job until next month ☹️ although I am curious to know why 🧐 Some great decluttering & dealing with admin frogs 👏 How wonderful that your DSis is coming over from America 🥹
charlies_tribe, eek that is expensive especially as you cannot know that the trampoline would last any longer than a cheaper one 🤨 Sorry to hear that you are “still not sleeping properly” 😞 Well done on biting the bullet & decluttering the gift sets 👏
Yippee to a completed bathroom suzeesu2000 🥳 Very kind of the chap to carry the cupboard to your shiny new bathroom 😊 Now you have all the fun of completing the final finishing touches & enjoying your new bathroom 🥹
All caught up 🙂 I hope everyone has as good a day as possible 🤞 Plenty of cwtches 🤗 are available as the ‘hug cupboard’ is full ☺️ See you later 👋

Today, with Mum's help, I took 8 boxes of stuff to my third choice charity shop - the first two were not accepting donations, and this one was I think rather surprised at the volume! Also a box of 2nd hand books to the Christian Bookshop, and a few bits to the tip. I sold a kid's bike too so that makes a bit more space. She also went through with me some genealogy and family records, and we decluttered a few odds and ends, and had a good laugh over some of my school reports. All now packed up again minus rather a lot of dust.Decluttering awards 2025: 🏅🏅🏅⭐️ ⭐️, DH: 🏅⭐️ and one for Mum: 🏅13

Hi, amongst doing other stuff today I emptied our pantry cupboard washed it out and put everything back, it all fits on one shelf now. I also tidied the cups and tea bag cupboard. I will make an effort to use stuff up before we move. Made a start by eating mandarin oranges from the tin with a fork.
Out today
my jam jar collection recycled
8 ancient herbs and spices emptied and containers recycled. Some were only 8 years out of date.
a peppercorn grinder
a folding shopping bag
a room spray
2 red glass hearts in a presentation box
all given away in a carrier bag from my extensive collection
I have finished another little knitted jumper, that's 2 for the Gift of warmth Summer challenge. It's knit as much as you can in June, July and August. Wool stash not looking any less yet.
I have also given the little coffee table four thin coats of undercoat today. Top coat tomorrow. It's all rock and roll at Vulpix towers.
