Wednesday: Another dull dreary day with a high of 18°C & a low of 11°C & rain forecast ☹️ I was up at 11:00 but again felt like a wet dishrag 😞 The weather brightened up a little. Late afternoon/ early evening we had a couple of rain showers. DH had a busy afternoon: filled all the bird feeders, repaired DSis’s headset which had snapped leaving the wearing exposed & finally got around to doing some welding re the Harley Davidson 🥳 (which has now been off the road for several years ☹️) Dinner was gammon shanks, chips & peas for DH & DSis whilst I had fried eggs rather than gammon. Threw the bones out for the fox who was lying on the lawn waiting for something to eat 😉 Wudupa Paid the milkman.

Good morning. Not much done here. DH did take some bags of clothes/bedding to work with him to see if it would fit in the donations bins and they did, they've been overflowing all week.
Thank you for the trampoline messages. I've been looking at them. As he's 19 and 65kg (and over 6ft tall) we seem to be replacing them every year or 2 as he doesn't actually bounce in the middle, he like moon walks all the way around the edge, killing the springs. This one had already had new surround, mat and springs. Im trying to decide if another cheap one, that we know wont last long, or buying a more expensive one (quiet a bit more) but with almost double the weight limit and stronger springs, would work out better or if he would just destroy that in a year too. Decisions...Decisions
Im struggling with everything at the moment but DD2 is at the hairdressers later so im going to have another tea and drag myself in the shower. Have a good day.

Up soon after 6 and did some email frogs and abit of tidying but realise how much I don't put away despite trying really hard. Moved about 30 items to real home, pens etc mainly, papers, dressing gown, jumper, bags but still had to collect others and just put in my study and would struggle to say dining room/ kitchen tidy. Dd2 back today and difficult to ask her to tidy/ sort if she feels I'm chaotic
And managed to leave abit late for work at 9!
Need a new strategy for rationing items out but have work backpack, one for causal and another bigger one for hikes or if I need to do shopping without a trolley. Narrow hall so not good palce for coats and bags. Have space for couple of jackets bit with changeable weather and still working outside home gets in a muddle.
So lots to work on. Did empty bins and make phone calls.
Hope people stay dry, my umbrella was in its home and my headphones so some progress!13 -
While tiler is doing the bathroom, I have decluttered a ton of old manky flours. All years ood, I dont bake anymore, and some speckled with little bits that might be flour weavils so all binned. Re-sited food processor to another cupboard and cleaned cupboard it was all in. That cupboard will be going up into the new bathroom so I have room for all our stuff. Happy me. When it isnt raining there is a box of packaging stuffs which will be going in recycling. Cant put in bin or it will be full but recycling is collected on Monday so will go then.Having a cuppa and then time to clean the fridge and declutter as necessary in there too.Lovely day here, overcast, rainy and cool. My favourite type of weather. Have a great day all xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

A very rainy day today, so I am inside most the day instead of sorting out the garden. Having a mainly relaxing day, although I took a peek inside the cupboard under the sink that I made a start on cleaning out. Quite a few bits to use up in there, but many will be a much longer task. I also have about 1600g of microgreen seeds that are getting quite old now. I tried to give them away a few years ago with no takers, so it's now going to be a matter of using up as much as I can before they stop germinating. I've sown absolutely loads on the windowsill and will see if they grow. If they do, I will weigh the bags and then aim to use a certain amount before the end of the month to keep me focused. If not, they can be composted.5 things to declare in, which are all unexciting household cleaning things like cloths as mine are on their last legs. The kitchen cloths are now relegated to more dirty cleaning tasks and I'm using them currently to spring clean the kitchen cupboards. They may fall apart after that!Steadily working my way through my using up items, but slow progress at the moment.11 - sticker sheets donated to school project

Mini kitchen challenge 39/50No updates for June use up challenge.@Mrs_Salad_Dodger don't think on your list for too long as it's already 5 June. No need for perfection and if you want to aim to use something regularly/x number of times, or a certain amount of it then that works as well. I put in things which I had nearly used up anyway to start me off and will now have more items that will take much longer to use up. The aim is progress and to use thingsYou can put 1 item on and add more when you think of them or have a very short list as well.

I do have a quick question i thought I’d ask here before tiptoeing onto the bank board……if anyone here uses the banking app on the mobile for a bank beginning with C - are you having issues? Not been able to log on for a few days and really don’t want to delete the app and then reinstall it as I haven’t got a clue about passwords and code etc….
