Here is yesterdays post 😅 Friday has been hot & sunny but with an occasional very welcome strong cooling breeze - high 24°C, low 16°C I was up at 11:00 as I had appointments with the hygienist & dentist. DH left 11:30 to do a bus SuperLoop. I had to wait for the dental surgery to open & then had to wait for both the hygienist & dentist who were running late (even though I was the first appointment with the hygienist 🤔) The best that can be said is that I have no new issues 😉 It was very warm on the Central Line but cooler on the DLR trains. As I was out, I caught the bus & went on past my stop to the pharmacy & picked up my meds. Having left home at 12:15 I was finally indoors by 17:15. DH eventually got home 17:45 - very happy that he had ticked off a few more bus numbers + some trams ☺️ Dinner was chicken & chips for DSis whilst DH & I finished the cheesy pasta. Wudupa
934 - 938 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 newspapers, cardboard box - recycled
939 - 940 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - binned
Hope everyone was as lucky with the weather on Friday & that it wasn’t too warm to get a good nights sleep 🤞
P.S. Forgot to mention that DSis vacuumed the downstairs 👏

I've already made a start on my June list. The screen cleaner which has hung around for far too long even though I already have another one has been used up and I don't think my laptop screen has ever been this clean! A new item added to keep the 8 items on the list.I've also been playing with the patio and trying to clear it up a bit with the ultimate aim of decluttering the pots I don't need. It's going to take quite a long time before I get there though.1 - cleaning stuff used upNew total 2,052

Hellooooooo
Garden moss weeds and patio dirt declutter. It’s about half done but I’m happy so far. Not gonna put too many plants back as the patio gets very hot and rogan will destroy them with his tail. Also found a very large dead rat. 🤮🤮🤮🤮⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Saturday is another lovely hot day - bright blue skies & sunshine with a high of 25°C & low of 16°C. First load of washing is on, so will now settle down to the cheerleading as I have fallen behind ………… again.Starting with the last of Wednesday’s posts:
Liverpool_Anne, at least Tuesday wasn’t a complete washout - OH got work done & you had a little drive, nice lunch & did some crochet 😌 A good day’s work on Wednesday getting the laundry done & even some ironing + another session tackling the bamboo 👏 Such a pity about the local attraction shutting down 😞 I do hope you manage to get a ticket 🤞
Happy_Kitties, you have been busy 👏 Very impressed that you are still packing up neutral items & wow to the number of shoeboxes 🤩 Hope the electrical work goes well & doesn’t cause too much disruption 🙏
First load of washing is out on the whirligig & 2nd load is in the wm. Also took the opportunity to dead head the peony/camellia. Sadly the pink one only has a single bud remaining but the white one has at least another dozen so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get a 2nd flowering 🤞 DH has zizzed up some scraps for the worms, filled the bird feeders & pottered in the garden whilst chatting to ndn. He is now heading out to the garage & loading up the car with stuff for a Tip Run.
Florenceem, a busy four days especially all the helping out & responsibility for SA work 👏 Excellent work decluttering the mending & making tasks 👏 Hope the results from MrF’s blood test & X-ray are OK 🤞A bit sorry to hear that you didn’t get any more nice bus drivers ☹️
oceanspirit, nothing wrong with having a slower day of decluttering 😊
Brambling, Well done on resisting the temptation to bring any books home 👏 Also some great decluttering managed after the embroidery hoop nut decided to make a bid for freedom 👏 Pleased to hear that you have a date for your hip replacement 😊 & I will keep my fingers crossed that there are no delays 🤞
TC77, you just have to remember how much nicer tea & coffee tastes after you have descaled the kettle 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏 Hopefully now you are steadily decluttering clothing you will start to notice that wardrobes & drawers are less full & close more easily 🤞 Please remember that you are working full time so you are doing a great job of decluttering 😊
Will post this as I am finding it hard to concentrate ☹️ I hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday & finding time to enjoy the sunshine if you have some 😊 See you later 👋

Yard sale done - We got shot of a good number of things, mainly to dealers who've do doubt got a very good price from me, but I'd rather get rid. we earned about £150, so quite happy with that.Repacked the unsold bits into sensible boxes for the Children's CS, general CS, Tool library and such like. We'll try listing a few things on Gumtree/Faceache/Freecycle but only for a few weeks.Unfortunately my DDs bought back some of the things from the Yard sale <sigh>.Decluttering awards 2025: 🏅🏅🏅⭐️ ⭐️, DH: 🏅⭐️ and one for Mum: 🏅15

DSis and I had a rummage and shed sort today (things have been bunged - you’d think we’d learn but no……!) but we can now properly get to the exercise bike. Things have been repacked and some things have been packed up for the CS.All this sorting then resulted in a scarf sort out from the wardrobe and a couple of bags being added to the shed CS stuff! The bathroom then got a thorough clean from top to bottom.I’ve also got a box of books from last week’s bookcase tidy that I send off. The box they’re currently in is just a fraction too small even with creative folding and judicious taping.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hi all, quick post as we are out all day tomorrow at OH's gnephews birthday do and I need to sleep 😅. Got to the tunnels yesterday and they were well worth the trip so I hope they find a way to keep them going. I confess to buying a very small note book to help with their fundraising 🤪. Spent most of today in the garden, put up new support wires for what is left of the chopped rose and tied it in. Spent a long time on the bamboo but it is such a swine of a job it will take me a few months I think, and did some general weeding so a bag of stuff into the green bin, also 1 LDFPA. After tea we made a dinosaur head from a watermelon as the centre piece for the fruit salad we are taking to the party tomorrow and the presents were wrapped using paper from my stash. Getting quite low on birthday paper now though I do have a lot of Christmas paper still. Thought I'd post a couple of pics from my garden 😁
And the dinosaur head
@vulpix big hugs
Right off to bed now
Hugs to anybody who would like one
795 rose sorted
796 bamboo
797 weeding
798 LDFPA
799 present wrapping
800 watermelon 🤣 counting as it took a while and there was lots of clearing up 🤣
Take care everyone

Whilst DH was tidying the garage he finally unearthed the spare bags of soda crystals 🥳 I add some to every wash so that I can save on washing gel. One bag decanted into a bottle & a sealed container. 2nd load of washing done & now the brand new large bath towel is having a (prior to use) cold wash to stop the colour running 🤞DH has loaded up the car with various bits & pieces for the Tip including 2 old motorcycle batteries, old shelving, cables & lots of other toot which I will count as 20.
So 941 - 960 Stuff from garage
961 - 966 Kitchen recycling, newspaper, 2 cardboard boxes, paper packaging, drinks cans - recycled
967 - 968 Kitchen & lr detritus - binned
DH ordered in pie & chips for DSis & a large kebab for us to share. Wudupa.
Lovely to see you vulpix 😊 Although very sorry to hear about your DiL’s Mum & the 2 cats 🥺 My deepest condolences. I am also very sorry to hear that you have been so unwell 😢 I do hope that that the doctor has been able to help & that you are on the mend 🙏 Great news that your house has sold 🥳 but a shame that you were gazumped ☹️ Keeping everything crossed for a favourable result from your eye test 🤞It would be so nice if you could drive again 😊 Brilliant work on both the decluttering & dealing with frogs 👏 a Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 😊
Liverpool_Anne, Great work sorting the kitchen & doing so much digital decluttering 👏So pleased to hear that you have managed to book a ticket for the tunnels 😊
I have caught up a little but will try harder tomorrow. Sleep tight everyone 😴
