@Florenceem - Oh my. How annoying that they don't listen when you say that you need the call and not Mr F. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of the confusion that he is experiencing. It can't be easy on you. Hope you are taking care of yourself.
Also just checked the Torvill and Dean tickets are sold out already.Debt Free - 4th June 202513 -

CRANKY40 - we didn't get a diagnosis when he was ill 2 years ago - I think it was a mental breakdown and he did have seizures. This time it was diagnosed as Hyperactive Delirium.
Now we have been told he had a stroke - I think there is some dementia there as well.
Mr F couldn't manage what he wanted to do on the computer.
No singing group for me tonight.

Happy Birthday, I hope you've had a wonderful day @vulpix 🎂💐
@Liverpool_Anne My local glass recycling, both kerbside and the local tip specifically forbid window glass/mirrors etc. Jars and bottles only. I thought about FB or Freegle etc but most of the pieces have missing bits or are odd sizes. I can’t be bothered to measure each piece and I don’t want to risk having other people sorting through and maybe breaking pieces and leaving me shards to clean up or worse, having to call an ambulance for them 🤣 – that’s my panic brain kicking in there.
Still waiting on the French bank account but I do know that the local branch have done their bit. 😁
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger The weather is warming and the days are getting longer so I’m coming out of hibernation. 🤣 Work progressed on the new greenhouse today. It’s still not up as the prep work, putting the rubber glazing strips on most of the struts, was a bit difficult. We then realised that it was because the rubber was so cold. A quick application of the heat gun speeded up work no end. Weather permitting DS1 and I will get it finished on Friday. 🤞🤞
Decluttering wise; one old greenhouse. About 7:30am a white van stopped outside and I got a knock on the door. Did I want the old greenhouse or could they take it away. They took it and a long length of rusty angle iron and I now have space for the next lot of scrap metal to be put there. 😁
@Florenceem I don’t know what to say about your saga with Mr F but do take good care of yourself. You can’t help Mr F if you are ill and unfortunately at the moment Mr F wouldn’t be able to help you.
Right, I have 3 more roof struts to apply rubber glazing strips on both sides and I want to get them done asap so they are not hanging over me. I’m very conscious that DS1 has to take all the responsibility for helping me as DD can’t get here as it takes so long by train and DS2 lives in California, so I need to do as much preparation as I can and show willing. 😁
Hugs to all who need/want one and have a good evening everyone. Dx

Florenceem said:Moorviews - I don't think the stress of Mr F is helping my recovery.
I decided not to attend friendship/lunch club today as I run around doing so much - I am the bossy organiser. I said to Mr F - that I didn't feel up to going - later he put his teeth in - I asked why - he replied - for lunch club - either he didn't hear or forgot.
Chemist delivered new pairs of compression stockings for Mr F this morning.
We were meant to be going to a funeral at our old Church after lunch club. It was streamed so we were watching when the door bell went. A chap had brought a tub of dinner and one of pudding plus a big vase of flowers from my friend at SA lunch club. So no cooking for me tomorrow - we are having - roast potatoes, carrots, brocolli and gammon followed by apple crumble and custard.
I finished the curtains and linings today and have cut out the tie backs and interfacing plus applied it.
Mr F is trying to do something on his computer but the sounds coming down the stairs don't herald success. What a lovely thoughtful gesture from your friend at the SA lunch club and even better that you don't have to cook tomorrowI'm so very sorry to hear about Mr.F and it sounds as though another cycle of what happened previously is beginning, so that certainly won't help your recovery
On a very weird note, the paving leading from a country road to the back of my local BP garage was lifted for a few days and then put back exactly the same, so I really thought I'd had lost the plot when I made trips to the RM Quad LockersLow and behold this evening when I took babyface for her last walk of the day and dropped of declutter sales parcels, this is what I came face to face with, which by the way has already been used!
It's located outside, is available 24/7, supplies all washing powder, liquid, softner, there's also a dryer available, and it alerts you by text 5 minutes before the end of it's completed cycle- Yes, you read that correctly!
I personally think that this is absolutely ingenious! Apparently, someone came, loaded their washing, dropped off all their parcels at the various inpost & RM Lockers, collected their Amazon parcels from the Amazon locker, put their car through the car wash, did a light shop at Lidl next door, returned and their washing was finished, loaded it back in the car and off they went back home!Off to boil the kettle and declutter another lovely mug of coffee before I take some pics and list some more decluttered items~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 25/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing20 -

So the moving out the furniture meant that I didn't declutter any jigsaws but I am definitely doing it tomorrow.
I need to pass a CS to go to one of my paid dog walks tomorrow at around 2pm so plenty time to get the bag rifled through and a CS bag sorted.
I am so tired today, bed for me soon.Debt Free - 4th June 202515 -
@Dizzycap these outdoor laundrettes are extremely popular where I live. We have one by the side of Mr Morries and it is always a battle for the dryer, whatever time you go. I used to use the dryer a lot in the past if it was available they must make a fortune because everything was always in use. Absolutely brilliant if you have big things that need washing like quiltsDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was one on the top floor of the Houndshill car park in Blackpool when I lived there. I left in 2019 though, so not sure if it is still there!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
