vulpix, pleased to hear that you ‘perked up’ & so did the weather 😊 Hope you enjoyed your Monday afternoon jaunt 🤞
Excellent decluttering Brie 👏 I love that word “büstenhalter” 😅
Wednesday2000, hope the nurse explained your cholesterol results & fingers crossed that everything is OK 🤞Good luck finding a new to you outfit for your birthday weekend 🍀
Welcome aboard the EDT Yoshimi2025 👋 It is never too late to join 😊 Firstly congratulations on your move & I hope you are settling into your new home 🤞 It does sound like you did a great job decluttering prior to moving 👏 I have noted your target & that you are counting down so I will hopefully not forget to send awards at the correct points in your decluttering journey 😉 An excellent start with 46 items gone already 👏 Thank you for the lovely compliment 😊 & apologies for not welcoming you sooner 🙊 although reading ahead I see that several of our Declutterati family have given you a very warm welcome 🥹
Muddy_Walker, sounds like a very busy Monday of medical decluttering 👏 with mixed results - although great news that you are stable 🥳 How rude of your GP although I am just wondering if the surgery has targets to meet to get their funding 🧐 It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if that was the case 😞 This “Cwtched up with the dogs now xxx” sounds like the perfect way to end the day 😊
What a busy Monday Florenceem 👏 & some great bargains at the community shop 😊
Brie, what a lovely welcome for Yoshimi2025 😊 Thoroughly enjoyed reading about your OH’s addiction to boxes & envelopes 🤣 but definitely sounds like he needs a bit of training 😉 DH & I moved 26 years ago & I am sure there are a couple of unpacked boxes in the loft 😧 + many boxes of unpacked boxes from when my DSis moved in almost 7 years ago 😬
Muddy_Walker, I read This “My husband likes boxes…….were these men cats in a previous life???” & nearly fell off the sofa laughing 🤣
What a very busy Monday Dizzycap 🤩 & how wonderful that Gorda is fully settled into her forever home 🥹 I am putting in an early request for photos of the swan nest & the cygnets when they arrive 🙏 Nothing quite so interesting here but today (Thursday) I have two magpies on the front ‘lawn’ discussing how to take away the half a dozen monkey nuts that I have thrown out 😉
Brie, maybe the squirrels are waiting for the flowers to be in full bloom 🤨
Yippee, I have caught up on Monday’s posts 🥳 A perfect time for me to post 😉 & wish you all as good a Thursday as possible 😊

Hi all, very poor decluttering day yesterday, only managed to do the lr bin but I think I have finally sorted out the back, not even a twinge so far this morning 😂 so hopefully I will get something done today 😂. The sun is out so I have a load swishing and another waiting. 😁. I have made an appointment with the dentist as I have cracked a front tooth and it looks terrible so will be decluttering lots of money tomorrow 😑
@Vulpix I missed the planets thing as I thought it was tonight but I doubt I would have been able to see anything without driving miles away as we have far too much light pollution here 😐. The daffs look lovely😁, spring is coming 😁
@Dizzycap re your information about saccharin the diabetes uk website says it passes through the gut without being absorbed but can trigger the release of insulin. Studies in mice have shown a rise in blood glucose probably due to a change in gut bacteria but not in people though they say the studies have only involved small numbers so it is not conclusive. They say Stevie does not influence blood glucose levels 😁. I also register as pre diabetic in my blood tests thanks to medication 😁.
@Brie choosing veg by colour makes perfect sense as peppers ripen they produce and store more sugars but honestly I am just the same and choose the red peppers 😂. As for the breakfast I don't think I fancy cabbage though I stopped having muesli years ago except as a treat when staying in a hotel, I now stick to porridge or just the yoghurt and fruit or just a banana depending on how hungry I am 😂.
@Florenceem so you are pre pre diabetic or as OH calls that ' normal'. You need to remember lots of things can cause a rise in blood glucose including if you are stressed or have a cold, it's not just about what you eat, other health issued can complicate things in a blood test, try not to worry about it too much, hugs. I was told quite categorically that you can still have treats such as cakes etc, it's a balancing act as with everything connected to our diet 😊. I eat lots of fruit though avoid fruit juice, you have to enjoy what you eat, nobody does well when things are banned which is why so many people fail on diets.
@Squiffy I agree re plastic, it's impossible to shop without coming home with something in plastic even if you food shop at a market etc which I can't do as there isn't one nearby to use every week and as you say supermarkets are full of the stuff. All we can do is avoid it as much as possible and recycle what we can.
@Siebrie you did make me laugh, I think your Ooomph is having a party somewhere with mine 😂
Well I have to go and sort out the washing. OH has had a couple of lessons cancelled today and is getting under my feet 😂
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Take care everyone

@ CRANKY40 - Foxy food parcels: I take a 4 slices of brown bread and dip them in warm melted meat fat. I put scraps of meat and veggies on one side of the bread and fold pressing the ends to close, stack sideways in a platic dish and put in the fridge to cool and set ready to put out at around 7.30pm - foxy grabs the 4 food parcels in one go and can go straight back to the den to provide food.I've taken photos of clutter to list, now time to start listings~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 19/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing15

I have written a menu plan & shopping list & a birthday card. Now ready to start cheerleading Tuesday’s posts. (DH & DSis headed off about 13:45 & will post the card which will hopefully arrive on time 🤞)
Dizzycap, doing the laundry definitely counts as decluttering 😊 Excellent work on the paperwork & digital decluttering 👏 Babyface definitely has you very well trained 😊
Welcome aboard esmf73 👋 Nice to see another new face 😊 Your mention of DS2 being your baby yesterday & now contemplating moving out sent me down the rabbit hole of how old my great, great nieces & nephews are 😬 I suddenly feel very old 🤣 Good luck with your decluttering 🍀 & I am looking forward to seeing you each week 😊
GrannyKate, I imagine having your grandchildren to stay on Monday night was far more enjoyable than tackling frogs ☺️ Great work ‘assembling’ the box 👏 & it sounds like Sir Sox had a great time ‘helping’ you 😉 Hopefully the bedroom renovation & decorating will soon be completed & you will be ready to start the kitchen renovations 🤞 Hope you manage to find time for a Tip run 🤞
Lovely cheerleading Liverpool_Anne 😊 & some great decluttering 👏 Your mention of “pretty tins” reminds me that I need to check if the CS will take a couple of mine as realistically I won’t use them 😉 Hopefully the funeral went as well as it could & was a celebration of life 🙏
Dizzycap, I appear to have misunderstood as I thought Gorda had been adopted by a neighbour 🙊 that will teach me to read too fast 😅 Very pleased that she has settled in so quickly 😊
I got distracted as an email popped up about Gene Hackman - R.I.P. Popeye Doyle 😢 Now my concentration is completely gone so will post & come back later 🙂

Thanks @Dizzycap. We were putting cat food out that our princess cat refused to eat because the fox was limping and the fox man brought some antibiotics for it. We thought we'd best offer something tasty if we were including medication. The funniest thing is finding all the toys that have been "borrowed" from other gardens we assume.

In the end I just went to the post office as the parcel was too big for my shopping trolley - I had to carry it in a mega large shopping bag. Tomorrow's parcel will be even bigger - I am thinking of strapping it to my shopping trolley frame.
I have finished the grey velvet curtains at last.
Now to work on the navy velvet curtains.
Mrs SD - I too thought the new Daxie was with a neighbour.

Well I started typing earlier and DD1 rang and the whole post has gone.
I haven't posted fir a while as it's been really busy here and nothing has really left the house, just odd bits.
We've decluttered a load of appointments. DGS has spent another week in hospital so we had DGD, he's now having further test but we'll again now. And dog 1 became completely incontinent (hence the dog beds) and then had another stroke last Sunday, this time he didn't recover as usual after a few hours and we had to have the vet out to let him cross rainbow bridge at home. He would have been 14 yesterday. He's now home and waiting with dog2 to go into the garden once it's a bit nicer weather.
Today I watched SYLO and it seemed to help a bit. I've sorted the coat rack, cleared off the hallway window and started sorting through a toy shelf that got put on the landing when rooms were swapped about 6 months ago. Some things binned and some bits listed on free site not added to list until they're gone.
