Principality BS 6 month RS Issue 3

The first (of 3) of my Issue 3's matures on 13th September. I haven't received any maturity options letter so far. My recollection of previous 6 month RS maturities (issues 1 and 2) is that I didn't receive a letter (?) but a function to choose maturity options became available online in advance of the maturity date. Issue 3 of the 6 month RS is still shown as available on the PBS website, so I am hoping that I can mature into a new one on 13th September. Can anyone recall how far in advance of the date of maturity the maturity options function has become available in previous 6 month RS maturities? I appreciate that 13th September will be the first date on which Issue 3's will be maturing.
hi @Hattie627 , i had an issue two  -  it was in advance by 20 days online in the website that offered me the maturity option & letter version of options was dated 17 days ahead of maturity date - though received only about 2 weeks before maturity date ( by then i had already done it online). incidentally, i opened a brand new issue 3 from scratch in the website first,  then i did the renewal/rollover online in the website of the existing issue 2 which duly converted into an issue 3 on the maturity date....so yes, i have 2 x issue 3's now- love that can change ac name so that nicknames clarify which is which.
Many thanks for this information. I ended up with 3 X issue 3's: the brand new one from scratch (opened March 13th) and then two rollover's. The original one is coming up for maturity on 13th September but there are no maturity options (yet) showing online (now less than 20 days to maturity), Just hoping that this does not mean that the option to rollover to another Issue 3 (which is still available as a new account) will not be available. I will keep checking online in the coming days, fingers crossed.

Monmouthshire BS Branch Exclusive RS Issue 1:

I sent off a postal application for the account on Thursday with a cheque for £500 just on the off-chance. I can now see the account in the app alongside the app version so it seems in my case at least they have accepted a postal application.
I also sent off a postal application for the Monmouthshire Branch Exclusive RS with a cheque for £500 last Thursday evening (21st Aug) and I'm pleased to say that the Monmouthshire opened the account for me this morning - they sent me an e-mail to confirm this and I can see the account in the app.

I now have all three of their recent regular savers (6.00% iss8, app 7.00% and branch 7.00%).  Hopefully, the Mon RS interest rates hold up better than the previous 6.00% 2024 regular saver edition, which is now paying only 4.90%.
So as this is a branch or agency account did you send the forms off to a specific otoc branch? Or if not what address?
I sent the application form off to the Monmouthshire head office address (printed on the form).  They forwarded it to one of their local branches and they opened the account for me.

I have a downloaded copy of the form from the Monmouthshire website from a couple of years ago.  If you refer to post 3872 above (from Bridlington), you'll find a link to the archived version of form.

I have one maturing on 14/9 (though mine is an issue 2, which seems odd as it was opened after your issue 3). No option to submit maturity instructions yet. I already have an issue 3 so will see what happens!

I funded on Friday evening and it took until yesterday (Tuesday) morning to show. But still dated Friday.

Funded yesterday at 3pm and it's just showed up on the app (9am) dated yesterday.

Thinking of opening the MonBS Branch Exclusive Regular Saver via post too - as nearest branch is over 150 miles away! I have the two other RS types opened and fully funded.

I have the archived form linked above printed and, as I don't have a MonBS prepaid envelope, I'll just pay for a stamp and address it to their head office in Newport.

Thinking of not including a cheque and just waiting for account to be opened to then do a transfer. Would that be OK or is a cheque required?

Not a requirement, but enclosing a cheque means you might get the first payment in as an August deposit.
