Previously I was only including accounts where the interest rate is 4.6% or better, or 4.4% if the account has favourable conditions (e.g. you can pay in £500 per month or more, the interest rate is fixed, or if the account matures after at least 2 years).
As you shall no doubt be aware the BOE Base Rate was cut from 4.5% to 4.25% on 8/5/25. After reviewing the wider savings landscape following this decision I have chosen to alter the thresholds for regular savers to be included on the main Regular Savers List.
I am now including accounts where the interest rate is 4.5% or better, or 4.3% if the account has favourable conditions (e.g. you can pay in £500 per month or more, the interest rate is fixed, or if the account matures after at least 2 years).I have now removed the following regular savers as they have announced reductions to their interest rates to below these new thresholds:

The RS disappeared overnight and I was able to apply for a new one today and its funded and surprisingly showing with a deposit of today's date (since it's not supposed to show for a non-working day), so I should be good to deposit again in June. Weirdly the new maturity date is now set for 1st June 2026, not sure why that has happened
One drawback though is that I have not received the funds from the old RS, I guess that will not be processed until Monday.0 -

My Regular Saver Bond Issue 34, with a maturity date of 30 May, now showing as matured into a 6 month RS (Issue 3) (my fourth of that issue, edited to third, my fourth expected on 5 June), with maturity interest added of £100.66 and £200 rolled-over and account number maintained. New MD of 30th Nov 2025.
Balance expected into my nominated account later today. (Edited to add: Balance of £2900.66 received in nominated account before 10am on maturity date. Very efficiently done)
Hopefully Lisa won't notice what's happened
My 6 Month (2) matures next week, as the option was available I gave my instructions a few days' ago for renewal to another 6 Month (3). I checked the screenshot I took when I gave instructions and it does confirm I requested £200 to new 6 Month, the rest to go to nominated bank account. However, I received a letter today (not the lady who's been mentioned above, but from someone else), saying "they're pleased to confirm they've actioned my request and the funds will go to nominated account". No mention that £200 will go to new issue 3, which (I think) previous letters have mentioned. So, I'm not holding my breathPrincipality RS3And if they discover he ticked a box, what will they do. I guess the worst would be either not open the account or close the account and refund any money.Hardly a reason for any concern.3 -
SAFFRON Member RS
My old Member RS matured today, and as per my instructions, £50 were retained for another 8% account, the rest paid into my current account today. All very impressive, smooth and easy to do except in the Account Info it confusingly says the product name is Small Saver B. I never applied for an account with that name, and I don't really mind too much what the account is called. Just wondering whether I might now also qualify for an 8% Members Month RS when it appears tomorrow?2 -
