My Skipton RS was set for maturity yesterday and did not know what to expect given today is a non-working day. The RS disappeared overnight and I was able to apply for a new one today and its funded and surprisingly showing with a deposit of today's date (since it's not supposed to show for a non-working day), so I should be good to deposit again in June. Weirdly the new maturity date is now set for 1st June 2026, not sure why that has happened

One drawback though is that I have not received the funds from the old RS, I guess that will not be processed until Monday.
Skipton are reported to start the 12 month term from the date of funding and not the date of application, so as they do not accept deposits on non-working days, they will treat it as received on 2 June, leading to a maturity date of 1 June 2026.
That was my point, it does not tie up. It is currently showing as a deposit of today, not Monday, which is what I think it normally does as a date for the transaction on non-working days (unless I have mixed it up with some other account). I will find out for sure when I try to deposit for June.
Its let me put in another £250 today without any issues and already showing on my balance. So it seems the deposits are counted on non-working days, just the interest is not and hence the 1st June maturity makes sense. Happy enough to start the RS with £500 from day 1 for the extra couple of pence  B)

    SAFFRON Member RS

My old Member RS matured today, and as per my instructions, £50 were retained for another 8% account, the rest paid into my current account today. All very impressive, smooth and easy to do except in the Account Info it confusingly says the product name is Small Saver B. I never applied for an account with that name, and I don't really mind too much what the account is called. Just wondering whether I might now also qualify for an 8% Members Month RS when it appears tomorrow?
As long as the interest rate is showing up correctly you should be fine.

I'm fairly sure I've contacted them in the past about account names that show in app etc Vs product actually applied for mind you could be other companies also.

Mine is supposed to mature today.  I've instructed (online) 14 days ago to close the account and transfer the whole balance to my nominated bank account. Nothing happened yet, still showing 8% Members Month RS with £600 balance. The idea was to close the old one and manually open a new one (£50 to a new MM and the rest to my bank) but the account wasn't available at the time. It still allows me to change my instruction, but as it is the actual maturity day I don't want to confuse the system.  I thought the transaction didn't happen because it's Sunday, but it looks like this is not not the case.

Maybe tomorrow as it's Sunday at the moment, that said I moved 4p interest from my Saffron easy access today to my nominated account

    Saffron Member's Month Regular Saver

It looks like a new issue of the Members Month Regular Saver is being added to their website, though currently hidden:

    https://www.saffronbs.co.uk/savings/regular-savings-accounts/members-month-loyalty-saver

When I checked on Friday this instead led to a 'page not found' error message.

I've managed to apply via online banking. I do have an existing MM RS which will mature on Tuesday 3rd June.
This comes up as not authorised to view when I click on it.

Yes, same "though currently hidden". I assume they'll make it live at some point next week.

I've applied via online account and sent a £50 test payment just to see what happens.

I never thought of this. Thank you! New MM RS is now opened and showing alongside the old one.

Mine successfully matured into a new Members’ Month. I decided not to chance the Refer A Friend on the basis they would then have the right to close the account and take 2 years worth of longevity on that account with it.
