In addition I have been able to give maturity instructions over the phone for my old Member's Month RS to be converted into a new Members Month RS upon its maturity next month.Bridlington1 said:Saffron BS Members Month RS to be launched 2nd June 2025:
8% Fixed
£50 per calendar month max
1 withdrawal/mthThe Saffron Member's Month RS and Refer a Friend RS are now both showing online as maturity options for the old Member's Month RS. The (new) Member's Month one shows as 8%, though has no other details. But it can be selected. The Refer a Friend RS 'more info' link seems to be broken as it goes to the Small Saver RS summary box.I vaguely considered selecting the Refer a Friend option to see if that bypassed the referral, but decided not to risk it in case Saffron have their own version of '[Removed by Forum Team]'.
Thanks for info - maturity option changed to open the new RS0 -
When janusdesign first messaged them it wasn't clear if this was one CS agent who was making a mistake, or if it was policy.friolento said:
It's good of you that you have alerted other Principality CS folks, so we can be sure they are all on the case. We don't want to have multiple good accounts, do we.janusdesign said:update: reply by secure message from the digital team to my previous message...Thank you for your secure message.
We do appreciate that you have held more than one account of the same issue previously but as stated in the terms and conditions for this account you are only able to have one account of the same issue number. We are aware that are system on occasion allows customers to have more than one account.
We’re here to help

Your Digital Service TeamWe still don't know for sure, only that two CS agents in the Digital Service Team have the same interpretation of the T&C's.Based on the response janusdesign got it looks like maturity instructions need to be given using a specific route to avoid encountering '[Removed by Forum Team]'... so their contact with Principality and the reply they've posted are likely to be useful to the MSE community. Also it is unrealistic to imagine that no other Principality customers in the same position would contact the CS team, so more agents were going to find out about it whether janusdesign contacted them or not.1 -
how did people make their 1st payment into the Saffron refer a friend a/c. Internal transfer of by FP.
If FP, did it show up within 2 hrs?0 -
My Skipton RS was set for maturity yesterday and did not know what to expect given today is a non-working day. The RS disappeared overnight and I was able to apply for a new one today and its funded and surprisingly showing with a deposit of today's date (since it's not supposed to show for a non-working day), so I should be good to deposit again in June. Weirdly the new maturity date is now set for 1st June 2026, not sure why that has happened
One drawback though is that I have not received the funds from the old RS, I guess that will not be processed until Monday.1 -
Saffron do not process deposits on a nonworking day, you will not see it until Monday and it will be on that date tooSpeculator said:how did people make their 1st payment into the Saffron refer a friend a/c. Internal transfer of by FP.

Ditto.surreysaver said:My Principality Regular Saver 34 natured today into my third 6 Month Regular Saver 3.
So I should be able to deposit the second £200 tomorrow.
Except it will be my second 6 month issue 3.
Is it normal when you go online to looks at your transactions it just carries on from the previous RS Saver 34?1 -
It's not the computer that has ticked the box.surreysaver said:

I would be concerned if they discover the error as you have ticked a box confirming that you have read the summary.IanManc said:
I gave the same instruction as you in the same circumstances for a 6 month account that matured today, and also got exactly the same letter, but my instructions have been fully carried out, so I've now got my second 6 Month Issue 3 with £200 in it, and the rest of my money is in my current account.10_66 said:Hattie627 said:Principality BS
My Regular Saver Bond Issue 34, with a maturity date of 30 May, now showing as matured into a 6 month RS (Issue 3) (my fourth of that issue, edited to third, my fourth expected on 5 June), with maturity interest added of £100.66 and £200 rolled-over and account number maintained. New MD of 30th Nov 2025.
Balance expected into my nominated account later today. (Edited to add: Balance of £2900.66 received in nominated account before 10am on maturity date. Very efficiently done)
Hopefully Lisa won't notice what's happened
My 6 Month (2) matures next week, as the option was available I gave my instructions a few days' ago for renewal to another 6 Month (3). I checked the screenshot I took when I gave instructions and it does confirm I requested £200 to new 6 Month, the rest to go to nominated bank account. However, I received a letter today (not the lady who's been mentioned above, but from someone else), saying "they're pleased to confirm they've actioned my request and the funds will go to nominated account". No mention that £200 will go to new issue 3, which (I think) previous letters have mentioned. So, I'm not holding my breath
With all the drivers aids available on cars would you use the same defense if you where involved in a accident. Sorry my lord it was the computer.
Hope you don't do the same with car or building insurance quotes3 -
Skipton are reported to start the 12 month term from the date of funding and not the date of application, so as they do not accept deposits on non-working days, they will treat it as received on 2 June, leading to a maturity date of 1 June 2026.roked said:My Skipton RS was set for maturity yesterday and did not know what to expect given today is a non-working day. It's the computer that presented the box. If the computer cannot tell I already have one of those accounts, and it's against the T&Cs to have another one, I would suggest it is an issue with whoever programmed the computer, or whoever commissioned the person who programmed the computer. No doubt someone paid a lot of money to do the job right.35har1old said:

Not sure it's the same with insurance quotes? The computer wouldn't know what my current status is, unlike Principality who do know what accounts I have.
Likewise I don't see the comparison with drivers' aids - they cannot see out the windowI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?3 -
