Just a reminder the following interest rate cuts come into effect tomorrow:

HRBS Regular Saver 30 Day Notice4.50%4.25%30/05/2025
HRBS Regular Saver 30 Day Notice Issue 24.60%4.35%30/05/2025
NatWest Digital Regular Saver (headline only)6.17%5.50%30/05/2025
RBS Digital Regular Saver (headline only)6.17%5.50%30/05/2025
I'll be moving most of my NatWest & RBS funds into better accounts.

Anyone know if there's a minimum amount you need to have in those accounts to stay open etc by the way?
I don't know exactly, but I assume a minimum of £1 followed by regular monthly deposits of £1 by SO:

"when you save between £1 - £50  by standing order each month"
I don't think there's any obligation to keep paying in by standing order. I cancelled mine and started transferring it manually, and skipped some months. I think you can just leave the account there with £1 in it.

There isn't an obligation to fund by standing order each month, I've funded manually pretty much every month & taken out as and when.

I think I'll just leave £1 in each

Hi, I opened and funded the Zopa regular saver just over a month ago and thought at the time I had set up auto save for recurring £300pm into the new account. But one month in and the £300 just went to the Primary Pot (access saver) and so I had to manually transfer it into the regular saver from there. Cannot see anywhere in the Zopa app where I have an autosave instruction set up that I can amend so am thinking perhaps I just set up a SO from my linked account as per traditional reg saver accounts. In the smart savings hub if click on account information it gives sort code and account number which is what is set up in my linked account monthly payment so this must relate to the Primary Pot. Is there a separate account number and sort code for the regular saver so I can set up a direct standing order as I cannot see anywhere in app? Otherwise guess could set up the auto save but don’t think option to do just for 11 payments so would need to cancel myself? Thks

I opened one in Feb  25 and set up auto save at the same time, When you log in the first box is Zopa account, next one down, Smart savings hub, third is Payments, Upcoming, Auto save £300 and the date.
Check that first to see if its showing.
My Feb payment was manual, March did not go through, I called and was told it was a mistake, to make a manual payment, so I did. They said it would work fine in April.
But later in the day the March payment went through and took me overdrawn, The extra £300 went into the basic savings pot as £300 was already in the Reg saver..
They are still working out the bugs.
If auto save is not there, call them, I could not find how to do that again. Maybe as its all set up for me.

My Regular Saver Bond Issue 34, with a maturity date of 30 May, now showing as matured into a 6 month RS (Issue 3) (my fourth of that issue, edited to third, my fourth expected on 5 June), with maturity interest added of £100.66 and £200 rolled-over and account number maintained. New MD of 30th Nov 2025.

Balance expected into my nominated account later today.

Exactly the same for me. I gave maturity instructions last Friday night, after having read about some members being rejected this option so I was concerned I would end up in [Removed by Forum Team] backlog. Luckily it seems my request was dealt with by someone else and my 4th 6 month RS Issue 3 is now open.

This is definitely a training problem within the BS... I wonder if [Removed by Forum Team] is the only employee doing it right but in the meantime I am glad she did not cross my path!

My 6 Month (2) matures next week, as the option was available I gave my instructions a few days' ago for renewal to another 6 Month (3).  I checked the screenshot I took when I gave instructions and it does confirm I requested £200 to new 6 Month, the rest to go to nominated bank account.  However, I received a letter today (not the lady who's been mentioned above, but from someone else), saying "they're pleased to confirm they've actioned my request and the funds will go to nominated account".  No mention that £200 will go to new issue 3, which (I think) previous letters have mentioned.  So, I'm not holding my breath  :/
