Refer a Friend regular saver 8%
£50 month / max £600.
Must complete a 'survey' providing the name of another Saffron customer who has 'referred' you (otherwise they say they will close your account down!)

No, existing customers can apply (I just did & account opened), however you must be referred by an existing Saffron member. You must complete the friends details (panel on RHS of web page) before applying. If your spouse has an existing account, you can both refer each other.

.
I presume this year's Members Month saver when it shows up will have a clause preventing you from having both, the intention being you can have one or the other. Whether the terms actually prevent this remains to be seen, as does how well they enforce it.
I'm waiting until Monday before I attempt it.0 -

."You'll need to complete the Refer a Friend survey (to the right of this page), as well as applying for your account. If you do not complete the survey, your account will be closed."
