Hope you get your money back. I've found if no joy on customer service chats then take it to social media. Twitter etc or x whatever it is called now. Have a moan on there and you will get your money back.
I've got an issue with a new (expensive) bra we bought on our trip away and don't have the receipt and I've worn it 🤦🏻‍♀️ but the stitching is all loose on it. I intend to get a refund or exchange for that one and won't stop moaning till I do 🤣

So glad your first day went well hope it continues 🤞🏻🍀🙏🏻

Thanks @debtfreewannabe321 I hope I do to, technically I have discovered they are breaking the law so I should at somepoint get my money back. It just might take a bit of coaxing. With your bra being faulty you should defo get something back or exchanged, or repaired. Do you have the card that you paid for with it on the statement to show the shop? Good luck with your shopping woes. XX

Regarding Deb.enhams item, it looks like I will get a full refund phew!! I have racked up another No spend day making mine 7/19 so far. My credit card stands at £1201.77 and depending on what I receive for the first wage will depend on what I can do, as it could be: although I think I am £55 out it could be more or less depending on what that first wage is...Just got a few more weeks to go!! Actually I don't know when exactly pay day is, I better look at my contract last working day of the month. 23 days to go!! Anyhow, while my back is not aching I will have a shower!!

Could you get a balance transfer card to move your credit card debt to?
Then you could build up some emergency fund first before you pay it off

That sounds like a good idea in principle, but I would prefer to clear the debt in one go so I know where I stand, I am hoping to make an OP as well which would pay for the mortgage if I were to lose my job I could use the OP to pay the mortgage and if I lost my job I would feel better knowing I had not got a lot of debt. However it looks like I have a job for the time being. I know all could change, but hopefully there will be nothing to worry about. I am thinking...Yes I will stick with the plan as it stands..thank you though...it is good to hear alternatives. Especially as what I thought was a sure move to get a perm role yesterday...seems it is just temp today and not as secure as one might hope, lets see what time brings meXX

Today I have Spent but only budgeted funds so it is classed as a no spend day - I had £30 set aside for fuel yet it was £20 - I have been desperate for something naughty lately after being so good 😉 That I spent some free money on snacks, (I am up to 8/19 No spend days) which was very pleasing. Also I found one of the refunds I was waiting for was on my old card, so I will do the grocery shop on this then pay the balance and use the credit up. I had a message from UC the money I am expecting is going to arrive as expected from UC..check. I am waiting for the watch refund but it should happen as I sent it back okay, there are enough days in the month for this to occur I think.

Now to pre-empt the coming weekend, I want a peaceful weekend and all the chores being done hopefully tonight if possible - there will be some washing to do tomorrow etc. but I need a list to do tonight to get most of it done if possible:-

    1) Wash up

    2) Do Bins

    3) Do hoovering

    4) set up desk for tomorrows working day

    5) Change bed linen

    6) Mop the floors

    7) Get wash on

    8) Rest and Read and Relax!

That will do for now, I'll be suprised if I get them all done tonight, but I'll try.

    Have a good evening allXX

Sometime later.....I don't feel up to doing any more I am just finishing off the washing up and I am done for tonight.
