I am a little like you and like something but then change my mind about it. So I try now to walk away, think about it, and if I still like the idea of it then go back and buy it. Also I think if there is say only one left and I walk away I think well if it's meant for me it will be there when I get back. I rarely regret anything that's not there when I go back and if I absolutely love it I buy it there and then if I have the money. It helps with most impulse purchases though.
    How is work going?
I know and I thought when I was in the shop that I am not as keen as I could be but I kept going yes I like it and one thing led to another !! Anyhow I think I can do a 180o on it, I have the receipt however MD is considering having a second one or to give it to my sister, or ask my sister if she wants to buy it off me - so I think all is not lost, my only mistake was buying the candles, MD will pay me back for the white ones, but it was too late to cancel the black ones, so i'll need to return them ahh well that is how it goes.

Work is going better thank you, I have been doing chasing where I am on firmer territory, however even more so now I have had responses from some of the customer - no payments yet...but it is very early days! Feeling a bit more positive about it all. Thank you.

Sometime later - I am reconsidering my viewpoint, as I have almost fallen in love with it again!! What am I like?

Crazy is my name here is the ornament with candles:-

So now I can't take it back, the amount I will have left to pay CC is £400 but this could be more or less it depends on the first pay packet. The amount I am prediciting on the credit card is £452.29 this is depending on whether I stick to no spending and only buy groceries. I won't know the following month either.

Actually what I can do is log into HMRC Tax and set it up as best as I can...ahh there is nothing I can do, next month yes, but not this month.

Anyhow there are lots of chores to be done tonight so I need a motivational list to cross off as I go:-

    1) Tidy bedroom

    1.5) have dinner

    2) Put all washing away

    3) Change bed linen

    4) Hoover

    5) Mop

    6) Sort bag for tomorrow as I will be going to the office

    7) Clean bathroom

    8) Prepare tomorrows lunch

I'll be surprised if I get all this lot done tbh! Lets see what I can do...go go Crazy!!

I'm done I'll do the rest on Friday, I don't think i'll be up for it before.

Thank you @debtfreewannabe321 it does, and I think I can afford it. Also I have emailed Deb.enhams to ask how far along my refund is and they sent 'it has been refunded' email, the last email which said it had been processed it took 3 days, this should mean it has been done on time, just.

Which means my final credit card bill should be:- £381.90 under the £400 target which would be monumentus!

    Fingers crossedXX

Not much to report today, I am on 13/19 No spend days, getting there! I have ordered over budget on the groceries, my budget is £50 per week, to include most items of toiletries as well as food shop, however my ordered amount is £65.73, this is in large part because I have £20 of toothpaste in the basket, I would have split this between three weeks however I was not quick enough for the offer. So I have added a few essentials to the basket, come Saturday I will write it off as a spendy day as it is over budget.

Today the credit card stands at £403.03 Plus Groceries Saturday (£65.73) (Which may or may not appear when cut off happens) minus £70.39 (Watch refund - I am expecting this to appear on Friday or Saturday Therefore providing I don't buy something else, I am expecting the Balance to be £398.37 Which is just within the £400 Budget, which is very good...whether I can pay it off is another matter! But the balance I am pleased with.

MD understands that I don't want to go out on the weekend (to save money), so we have decided to have an arts and crafts day on Saturday, I will be doing my cross stitch and she will be painting!

I got a bit bored tonight so have loooked at the last month and prepared breakdowns of spending it has only taken a few minutes but I also did some work at WFH.

£403.03 is my current CC balance and above is what generally makes up the amount, the real concern for me is the food and snacks, if I was purely on Groceries it would be £200.00-£250 (£50PW) So this is quite a step from that. Refunds was heavier this month but it has helped offset some of the big spends...which is worrying for the coming months.

Fuel is nice and low I had put aside £30 per week it is closer to £35 every two weeks which is good.

I have also prepared a break down of spends:-

Spending is a lot higher then I would like also at £259.25 this should be in the region of £100 plus anything from prolific, however I know I lost control a little on some days and clawed some back.

Anyhow it is interesting to see it all broken down, I think I will do this every months until I reign it in. Of course for someone who can find it hard to remain under control all the time, I wonder if £100 is enough (The arguement would be: what would be enough!?), I won't have as many refunds to fall back on next month I should think...I am trying to avoid buying anything I don't really want.

All bills have finally come out for the month which leaves £285.08, CC is still £403.03, The refund could still come on I am hopeful for this. However Currently I need a wage of £1766 exactly to pay for everything that I need and want. I may or may not get this??

Thanks for dropping by V3Cash, I have been the best I have been with spending close to £450 however I got away with a lot with some refunds that came through from last year. Still it is a big improvement and I am very pleased with my low CC bill.

15/19 No spend days today - v pleased. Tonight I want to do some chores.I have done a full days work, I have been to Boots in lunch hour for MD and taken what she needed. MD not in a good place with her catheter, I do feel for her. I am worried when she goes that I will have no one, No one ever calls me up for a chat male or female, family or friend...anyhow onwards.

The chores for tonight will be:-

    1) Hoover

    2) Bins

    3) Clean bathroom

    4) Put washing away.

    5) If I can and I am willing Mop the floors.

    6) Clean desk.

    7) WFH Update SS.

    8) R&R

Tomorrow I don't think MD will be up for the Arts and Crafts session we had planned, we will just chill out instead, part of the groceries is a danish for us each tomorrow morning after my shop arrives, and MD wants me to get groceries from the local for her and SFD tomorrow as usual.

I am not looking forward to the chores, It will be the case of eat dinner, chill get bored then do them, like ripping off a bandaid! I will feel better when it is done.🏋️‍♀️😊🏋️‍♀️

    Sometime later.....

I am super pround of myself, being tired and getting everything done that I want feels good, Now I can enjoy the weekend ahead - Heres hoping!
