I haven't had the call saying I have the job so no joy today, I have planned my life on the basis I don't get a job and lets just say life is no longer peachy, with MD paying off my credit card I don't want to send it up again, therefore I am on a buget of £148 I plan on spending £40 on fuel (One full tank) and £50X2 on groceries and the rest will be used for occasional milk etc. I do however plan on saving, I will use prolific money to save, I am going to finish writing my novel and I will be on a diet as I can't spend on what I had before, everything I was having will be cut back significantly. I am due to go to MDs BDAY tomorrow, and take her to the hospital on Monday, after that I am staying home until the new month, I do have an appointment at the Job centre also, but that is it.
I have not found any other jobs, I really thought I would be lucky enough to wangle a job, I guess I was wrong. I know things could turn around but I am not expecting them to. I Think this is it for some time, well you never know maybe the novel will come good for me. Also on my birthday I am going to ask MD for the money she said I could have but it will be saved for car maintenance!2 -
So sorry you didn't hear back from them. Don't throw the towel yet, they may contact you next week, you never know what's up on their end. I think it's quite rude not to tell at least contact you to tell you you've been unsuccessful. So it's all game until you hear otherwise. Hopefully something nice pops up from Job Centre. Are you checking the usual online portals as well? Good that you're looking at making some cuts, or I like to call it a pause, to your spending. I do some ad hoc surveys too from time to time and money adds up so keep an eye, sometimes I can make £10 doing 3-4 surveys but I personally prefer these quick ones, even £0.30-£0.60, every penny counts.
On another note, this cake looks stunningEnjoy the birthday party tomorrow xx

Shame you’ve not heard - fingers crossed they are just slow.

Thank you @RedLipstick The cake doesn't look professional but it is certainly an improvement on a plain sponge! I have checked for jobs today and applied for not one! I know you are right and that I could still have a job by the end of next week, but it doesn't look as promising as it did today! After finding out spending money I have left for the next month and this month I would be very thankful for either of the jobs, screw what is suitable! That money would be great!
Part way through the day I realised I had £10.93 then I went on the phone complained about a partial refund and got given the full amount back, so I am up to £55 for the rest of the month and £16.34 in prolific which I will try and build up and try an get an EF very slowly! I am up to 7/19 No spend days. I Think I will start researching how I can get the most out of my money and see how people have been savvy with their money. Enjoy your weekendXX1 -

Can I guess 5000 calories for the cake? It looks good and hope it tastes yummy. On the job front have you tried a direct approach to any large employers in your local area. eg. the council? Have a fun day with your flower lei's tomorrow.2

Are there any more guesses before I reveal the answer for how many calories in the cake?
Today I have set up the hall for MDs birthday but I quickly decided that I didn't want to go because of friction with the family, So I did my bit, I got the hall looking good, got MD changed and went home, I feel glad to be at home tbh and MD saw me, it is just the rest that will enjoy the party, don't worry I am okay with it, I do feel a bit used but then MD recently paid my credit card and I am happy to do my bit as long as I don't have to suffer any spitefullness then I am okay. It is MDs birthday and I want it to be good so now I am sure it will be.
I will put the tea on and a little housework before I relax and maybe a shower tooXX2 -
Aww that’s a shame you’re missing it but not worth it if it will make you feel rubbish! Families - who’d have them 🤣
I reckon about 6000 calories for the whole cakeSealed pot challenge 822
