I Know it is crazy, MD said she had wanted one of my chocolate almond cakes for some time so when she said would you mind doing my birthday cake I thought what an opportunity to do the almond cake, however I used 6 batches for this cake, I have to say I have had some and it is not as good as when I do it in one batch (although still tasty and moist), also no one ate any of my cake which I was a bit disappointed in, well at least we had laugh about the hiccups and I enjoyed trying, MD said she liked it, but I don't think I am cut out for this cake lark you know! I have taken some home and there is some in the freezer at MDs, I will see what the lodger makes of it tonight, at present I am preparing a meal for him, I am glad to have his company, I wish it would go romantic but I know it won't, but I'll make the most of having him here, as it is the nearest thing to a BF that I have had for a while and I am enjoying itXXdawnybabes said:Omg, you could have a full meal for just one slice !0 -
