Hi CB787 , you never know , they might find your honesty refreshing! Good luck for your next interview
Hi Newstartforme Thank you I appreciate the comment. When your recruiter calls about another job, the signs do not look all positive! especially one that is not suitable. Fingers and toes crossed for tomorrow.

Hi, was that the brewery role? Interviewers make allowance for nerves. Don't rush to fill a silence, that's a well used trick that causes most of us to babble. And have at least one question to ask them. Good luck for tomorrow

Thank you, I will give it my best shot...But if there is such a thing as a premonition I believe I won't get the job, however I am going to treat the interview like, well I have nothing to lose so I'll give it my best!

Keep applying, treat it as practice. Interviewing is a skill. If they've asked about it, nothing to worry about. If they didn't, well, don't volunteer any info other than what they're asking for. Your task during the interview is to move to the next stage/get an offer, don't side track. Another one tomorrow, fingers crossed. If you're not sure just keep applying, something will come. xx

Edit: Also, stop manifesting bad luck! I'm sure you did fantastic overall, turn that negative voice down! :)

Thank you redlipstick, after thinking about the experience today, I felt the team were quite novices to interviewing as it did seem poor management to fit two interviews so close together, lets hope tomorrow is better! and maybe I did get the interview and maybe I have a shot at a better job tomorrow? ever hopeful.

I was thinking the same as you when I got back don't offer any other extra information, it could well ruin me! I am trying to use the best with any intelligence I have to do just that and concentrate on getting the job, I use to have this helpful angel which seemed to help in these situations it seems to have now gone!

Ohh Crikey I am a fish out of water, but I did say a lot of positives in the interview, so I could very well win two job offers at the end of the day!

As ever thank you for your input...I will try to be more positiveXX

I am just thinking about what I just said they did re-iterate that they were a start up, maybe that is what they meant! they were all novices to the situation?

I have been to the interview for the brewery today and I don't think I said anything particularly bad, but they did say that it didn't look good to have been to so many places for such a short amount of time. I did say there were benefits to this such as being able to adapt to new situations quite well, learn quickly and knowing a number of finance softwares! So I did think I had done okay. To be honest I told MD I had a good feeling but really I have no feelings, I thought it went well, but I don't feel a particular positive outlook or negative, which has never happened before! Maybe that is a good sign or maybe bad?

The paper edible flowers have arrived I tried one they seem okay to decorate the cake, I don't really want to cut them out but they probably would look better cut up, I'll leave it for tomorrow also the flower garlands have arrived they are not quite as grand as I have seen previous times but they will do for a bit of fun and colour! Also tomorrow as well as putting the cake together I will also need to weight the cake put the measurment in a closed envelope and same with calories, as we are having two competitions, guess the weight and guess the calories of my cake but it depends on the outcome of the look of the cake...fingers crossed for tomorrow I can't wait to give it a bash!

This afternoon I want to do some more writing, I haven't spent any money which is a plus. Last night I did quite a few pages, if I get the job at the brewery and I should find out tomorrow I won't start until Tuesday after Easter Which gives me 7 full days to write, I am really hoping I can finish the book in this time, once I find out I will work out how many pages I need to write each day so I can target that! At the same time I don't want to rush it too much! It might be a bit of a stretch to do that, but I want to try, It will be good to market it get it out there, depending on how I feel about the story as a whole.

Sounds good, and well done on nailing that answer and not going into panic mode! Fingers crossed for some good news. Any other interesting roles on the horizon you think of applying for?

Thank you RedLipstick for the comment I appreciate it, there are not any other roles on the horizon I am not sure if the brewery is the right move for me, but if I get the job I should probably take it!

It is mission cake today, I am putting together two halves of a cake, one half is broke and the other half wonky and the end result is I hope that it looks good...Eak! I have all sorts of things to try and make it look good icing moulds and icing, gold dust and glitter (edible), stencil, edible flowers, jam and chocolate can I make something out of a disaster? Lets find out....Off I trot!

    Done and delivered!

I tried the stenciling and it did not look great so ended up putting the gold dust all over! MD is happy with it, now they are threatening to eat some as it smells delicious. We are having a competition how many calories, I don't think I have already said, but if you are passing by would you like to make a guess? I'll reveal later! P.S It is 14 inch board that is is sat on, the cake is 12 inches wide!
