Thanks @dreaming however I may have a job before the appointment so I will cancel the appointment for the time being should I get the job. I have actually got a diagnosis it is Schizo affective disorder and most people who have this don't work (actually all but me, my psychiatrist has said), however I feel I may have been wrongly diagnosed sometimes although the medication I take has progressively made me feel better. I have read the symptoms for ADHD & Autism and sometimes I feel I have experienced these symptoms so it is confusing.

I have an interview on Monday, it is a bigger organisation where there are many people also it is a flat organisation and there is lots of autonomy. I think it might be what I have been looking for. I'll keep all appointments for now, should I get a job offer I hope to start before the end of the month and hopefully be paid for what I do this month and then I can leave my EF intact, that is the plan. If I can still do the appointments I will and see where they lead, but I have waited this long, a job is much more important right now, and the diagnosis can wait, I think?

I have had a supermarket shop today and I spent £55.00 for two weeks worth, back to benefits spending sorry to not see the pizza or kitkats etc! Although that chocolate hamper is great, there is lots of solid chocolate stuff with different flavourings worth £90, what a treat I did give MD some treats as well. Tomorrow I am hoping to get a few jobs done by a helpful man for a fee, also I am hoping to take the wicker hamper back to the lady at the church and I may enjoy a drink and cake with £5.00 cash I have while I am there. Also tomorrow I need to do some more chores and cooking.

A diagnosis round here takes at least 2 years, Leeds about 10 years - the waiting lists are horrific.  Even if you do right to choose route most providers are at least a year and then you’d struggle to get meds (that normally adds a year) if you need any help just shout (tis my day job)

Thanks @dawnybabes I was told there were long waiting lists by someone else I know if I can make the GP appointment I will go for it, otherwise I will be in work again, Thank you.

If I can get a job before the end of the month I need to earn at the very least £400 at best it will be £1000, which would be most useful.

I had to look up your diagnosis Crazybee and see that a lot of the traits can also be seen in autism and ADHD but it might be worth mentioning to your GP/Consultant. I think getting the right help is just as importnat as getting employment otherwise the cycle continues to repeat. I see (now) with my daughter how every time she reaches burnout (as she calls it) her confidence and resilience gets a bit lower, and she is now considering leaving the profession she has worked so hard for, but her peace of mind is the most important thing for me. It's just so difficult when there are bills etc. to pay and she is a very proud person and unlikely to accept help from me or her Dad. I wush you well with the job prospect.

You sound like a lovely mum, similar to my mum recently said she would buy me a car and pay off the mortgage but I haven't said yes to this right now and she isn't 100% sure about doing this either. The last conversation we had was that I would save a bit towards a car and keep using her car until I have saved enough obviously before I can save I will need a job. I have applied for a few jobs. I know I can work longer terms, actually having reflected in the last few days I think I know what is going wrong somebody else here said are you sure you can work from home mixed with this and more awareness of what is happening I think a pure office job would be good. Actually I am really looking forward to the up coming interview which should be next week sometime. Although the job spec is not really what I have been after, for one I can do the job and would be glad to be doing something and 2 it could lead to my desired role of management accountant which would also be good, and obviously earning money to pay the bills and not live off the state, I could always push back the start date now until 1st December now that I have had the rebate, so I can get those doctors appointments and hospital appointment done and dusted not to mention a rest before I start the next challenge. I haven't burnt out in the last job but I came a little close, having only done 2 months means I don't feel too bad. Obviously starting sooner would be good too, but if I can get those appointments done that would be good. Anyhow I am talking as if I am certain to get the job, although it is almost certain not quite I still need to show a good example of myself in the interview which is doable, but there have been times when I have royally FXXKed it up, so I need to put my best foot forward. Thank you @dreaming for your input, I wish the best for you and your family. CrazyXX

I have utilised my skills in accounts to create a Pivot table, which is very simple when you know how please see below (If you have excel and want to know how I can give you a step by step guide, they are really handy when observing numerous transactions or you can search you tube, where you can find helpful guides): -

Summary £901.38 spending is a lot £301.38 over the planned £600 which is 50% more. I haven't included any debit card payments which may increase the amount a bit, I am expecting to just use one card for the upcoming month to iron out those errors in calculations. I am also hoping I can bring it down significantly in the proceeding months.

Take out is high and of that £135 was in the last week of the month when I no longer had a job, crazy spending, so I think the usual is less then normal except for the blip at the end of the month.

Groceries is where I want it when working and of course most of the month I was working.

Gift I didn't spend 50p on someone I used a giftcard and that was the extra I needed to pay! 😉

Home is more excessive with the locksmith and toilet seat however this is an exceptional circumstance.

Spending is high at £422.03 when you factor in the refund for spending it is actually £184.53 but when you add gift, eat out, parking, Home, snacks, & Take out it is actually £733.69 which is Way over the Budget without Fuel or Groceries, without a doubt my spending is way over what it should be.

However whilst in work I did start a new idea where I would buy in different things to sustain me over the week like Nuts and yoghurts which stopped me from spending on snacks during the week, so if I can maintain these changes plus although I spent a small fortune on Take out recently, I really didn't enjoy any of them, it would be wiser to buy a chosen pizza at the supermarket that I actually enjoy then buying a load of take out that was not really enjoyable. So those two things should help.

But where I save on snacks and take out in the upcoming month I need to not spend on frivolous gifts for myself some spending is okay occasionally but I need to go out pay for the odd cake and drink for MD and I and then not buy anything else. Maybe I can treat myself to one item at the end of the month if I have the funds left over? Anyhow the point is moot as I don't yet have the job, it will come, if this chap liked my CV others will too, so I just need to win this gent over and or the next!

I think I forgot to mention that I got a tax rebate through the post for a previous year, this money will help pay the bills in December while I anticipate getting another job. It is January I now need to worry about, I am hopeful to get a lodger before then, but I do have my EF so I don't need to rush into anything, although I think I will go all out to get this other job. It is nice having money again and it is boring staying at home. I just need to look after myself better whilst employed.

Today I am back at home aiming for a no spend day I am on 3/12 not including today, I will aim for 4 today. I am at home all day today, My mission should I choose to accept it is: -

    1) add a no spend day - I have already side stepped going out to get brekkie and cooked some quorn sausages I have in and fried eggs on toast with ketchup yum!

    2) Change bed linen and put wash on.

    3) Sort washing out

    4) Make a cake and have afternoon tea!

    5) sort out cupboard and declutter.

    6) R&R.

Okay there are no jobs on the table I have applied for several today however the interview I had, has been cancelled. I have had no interest in the room thus far that has resulted in a lead, although I am quietly confident something good will happen on that front, maybe blind stupidity maybe not, we will see. I have added another no spend day making my total 4/12, however money was spent just not mine. MD and I went to Garden centre, we stopped off at McDs for brekkie which was enjoyed and then on to Garden Centre. We had a drink there also MD also had a cake, I declined having had two sausage and egg mcmuffins, I was full!

MD said she had a good day, that in itself pleased me and to be honest I did enjoy going out as well, I really did enjoy the breakfast not a bad trip. However we didn't go out at the weekend so it was due! On another note I have come up a new way to search for jobs in the what field where you would put the job title I have put the place for example Lincoln (I live no where near lincoln by the way!!) then in area I have put Lincoln again and reduced the results by putting a search radius of 0 miles, thus all local jobs to Lincoln appear, I thought this was quite a good way to search for unusual jobs nearby that don't appear in a normal search this way I see what else is available locally, I did the same search for different places I would be happy to travel to. I found one job that was completely different in science field and then another office job plus a citizens advice job and more importantly an accounts job, I have applied for all of them.

I think this might be the worse time to lose a lodger, I really don't want to use my emergency fund if I can help it, but I might have to at this rate, I will try and avoid this, I just need a lodger, but not any lodger someone who I can get along with, I really like the one I have got but he doesn't want to stay 😢.

Tomorrow morning I am going to get some bricks hopefully from somewhere local 6XBricks, then I am going to MDs to place them behind the fridge so the fridge doesn't keep going into the recess, then I will stay with MD for a while then I will go and get my blood test, then I will try and do some writing in the afternoon as well as search for a job. Have a good evening allXX

Not a bad today I have had a relatively pain free blood test, a day out with MD, interest from a recruiter about a well paid job I applied for and two leads for the room. I have also spent money which was a bit naughty, I got a hair brush which I needed, eye brow wax in case I get an interview and cod and chips and MD bought me a nice packet of hot Chocolate from a special shop.

The job I had interest from want someone to start immediately however I haven't got the interview let alone the job, I am hoping they will give me a shot, although it is further then I would like to go they are planning on moving within the next 6 months, so if I get it and can hold on until then it could be quite good, we shall see.

The two leads I have one is a chap who is working local and seems to do overtime, he is closer in age to me then the last two. Then there is another lady who said she works from home, which is fine I think although if the gent works out I think potentially I would prefer someone to be out, although it doesn't make a difference to the heating bill as I keep it on all day. The gent is planning to visit on Saturday, so I will see how that goes, the lady is I think in South Africa, so can't view another drawback, I won't be able to meet her and she would like pictures sent to her I will send once the old lodger has moved out. Lets see how the viewing goes on Saturday.
