I am on £1070.89/ £600 which is 178% utilised, I am on 14/12 No spend days, there is 5 days left of the month. I have £2000/£3500 EF which is 57% of the way there, aiming for £600 to add at the end of the month which would make it 74% of the way there. Today is Sunday I am aiming for 15/12 no spend days and getting the cat emoji, there is no reason why I can't get there today. I have decided today to be a lazy day I may still pop to MDs, I know a sister has planned to go there, so I will probably go this afternoon for a game of yahtzee! Enjoy your day allXX0

I am on £1186.88/ £600 which is 197% utilised, I am on 14/12 No spend days, there is 5 days left of the month. I have £2000/£3500 EF which is 57% of the way there, aiming for £600 to add at the end of the month which would make it 74% of the way there. Today is Sunday I was going to have a lazy day in but instead MD suggested going to one of our favourite haunts and it was great, I splurged a bit, I think when you spend a little (Yesterday I bought a coat and tunic dress, Coat I needed) But once you do that and on the credit card it opens up a world of splurginging, I am aiming to reign it in going forwards but it was nice to buy a few things for myself. I got let me
show you

The spending stops now! I have calculated that I can still save at least £550 and possibly overall £700. I will see what the results are for the month on Friday on Payday, I know this is not money savvy and I did spend a small fortune on some charity felt ornaments as well of three wise men which I will show you at christmas time, they said they help a child survive Christmas in Nepal. I am a sucker for a story also I have been looking for three wise men.
I was trying to be more minamalist, however the last time I wanted a special ornament at this place by the time I came back they had sold out and I regretted it, and this one was my favourite and it was the last one, don't you think it is special. However my spending has nearly doubled what was planned, which is not any good really. I do need to stop spending, I do have good periods, I probably should have stayed in. When I look at the amount I have spent I think crikey this is not good. However it was a heavier month for spending what with the locksmith and toilet seat and Christmas presents.
However on a positive note last week was the first week where the majority of the week I had everything I needed at home, I think total I spent £15 on take out and some reduced cakes. The rest of the time I found things at home having snacks in and buying the odd pizza at supermarket means that I don't go and spend a ridiculous amount at my local M&S or take out. It sounds like a small achievement followed by an excessive weekend which is what it was almost, I think the week was a big achievement and I need a repeat of that and I feel like although I buy a lot of food gifts for myself I rarely buy stuff or at least I have had a long time avoiding spending on myself what with being out of work, so it was nice to do something.
Next week on the 1st November we are going to a craft market, I will take some cash for refreshments and entrance and a small amount to spend. I must remember the time when MD said you can't have that when I was younger and stick with a budget and I had to, I need to force a budget on myself for next weekend, I am thinking £20, I would prefer to have a no spend day, but then MD would have to pay for the entrance and refreshments and that is not fair, I will stick with £20 - decided. Sunday we are going for a meal and I won't need to pay, so I plan to make Sunday day one of No spends for November.
I know a lot of people will be screaming get rid of the credit card, but I had the cash in my spending account and I still go over what is planned, I just take from another account. So with me I just need to work on it day to day, sometimes you should be able to treat yourself as well, I don't plan on spending much more on myself this year. Also my computer seems fine right now, so I will hold off on getting a new computer as well IMAC or not! I have to say I enjoyed today and I am glad of the things I got. Next weekend I will just spend £20, out of £600 and I am not going to splurge in the week also, just stick to my planned snacks, if I can keep that up I will be a happy bunny. Not all is lost and I must be able to live my life. XX

I am on £1218.51/ £600 which is 203% utilised, I am on 14/12 No spend days, there is 4 days left of the month. I have £2000/£3500 EF which is 57% of the way there, aiming to add to that this month. Today is Monday and last night I nearly burned the flat down by boiling and egg then going to bed. I did tell myself at one point to only go out one day of the weekend, but instead I did two and feeling a lot of guilt for Sundays activities not only have I spent a lot yeserday, because of the egg fiasco I spent a lot today, it is a knightmare, I feel like I have undone all good work. I shouldn't blame MD because she says it is completely up to me, but she keeps threatening to go out on the bus and I am trying to prevent her from doing that, because she really needs another person around. And also the flat stinks, and my kitchen ceiling looks like a small disaster hit !!
Today I can really feel the effects of the weekend, I am going to have it out with MD and say I am only going out one day of the weekend and if she wants to use the bus service don't tell me about it. I really shouldn't of spent that money yesterday and I shouldn't have gone out, I needed to rest. Not again.XX

Today has been difficult, quite lonely I was hoping for a conversation with MD but she is just so tired all the time, and the lodger is spending all his time with other people, no time for me. I don't know how to get better connections in this world maybe it is just me against the world, sometimes it feels like it. I don't have any like minded people in my life I wanted to change that, but I am unsure how tbh. I don't want to spend time in a pub, I tried to arrange to spend time with my niece but she has no time for me, although she is taking me to the hospital (for an appt. coming up), which I am thankful for. But I don't know how to meet people I have tried lots of things locally. Anyhow I will keep plodding and keep trying. XX0 -

That’s a lovely message.
have you looked at local groups ? My WI is a ‘young’ group, it’s hard making friends as you get older, you just need to find your tribe.A local lady to me set up a FB group to meet friends and it’s now got about 400 members that you can dip,in an out of.Sealed pot challenge 822
