Bee, you're driving yourself crazy other something that hasn't even happened! You've not been there long, so they might not want to give you too much right away. They might be worried if they do that you'll leave. Please do not rush into anything, you worked so hard to get this job and you're doing well with your finances!

P.S I also do SOPs at work and can confirm they are a bit boring, although mine are on how to use machines, so it means I get to hang around with the factory guys watching what they do which is quite fun, bit writing it all up is not 🤣
I know you are right about being worried about something that hasn't happened yet, also I worry that they are deliberately being difficult with the sops. So I need to stop and listen to them. Also I retracted my letter that I wrote to the lodger as he was honest and he has now purchased a bike not on credit. Anyhow I will try and sleep again.

I am on £894.16/ £600 which is 149% utilised, I am on 13/12 No spend days, there is 7 days left of the month. I have £2000/£3500 EF which is 57% of the way there, aiming for £600 to add at the end of the month which would make it 74% of the way there. Today being Friday means it is a cleaning day, I have had a good sleep so feel I can probably get on with it okay today once work is out of the way!

    Therefore I need a trusty list: -

    1) put washing away

    2) change bed linen

    3) put wash on

    4) Clean bathroom

    5) Hoover

    6) Mop the floors

    7) R&R

Today being Friday means it is a cleaning day, I have now done the cleaning and I am glad. There is just dinner to make and clean up the kitchen, then I am completely done! I think I will have a relaxing evening cross stitch and reading, check calclutaions, I may very well have a spendy day tomorrow as we are going to the local supermarket so I will try and make a budget to not go over, I think I fancy halloumi sticks and pizza, also we will be looking at the clothes, I think MD plans on treating me to one item as she has a lot of nectar points!

On another note today has ended well with my colleague we are both okay and getting along, the SOP debacle behind us and the big boss has said use chatgpt so I won't have to do all the legwork! Happy days!

I am starting the weekend on a positive note and I hope you do tooXX

I am considering getting a new computer as a Christmas present to myself, as my computer has been going slow and sometimes it is difficult to do what I need it to do, I sometimes think it is on the way out, and I have seen an IMAC that costs £1299 that I like. I am not expecting many gifts but I could do this for myself also IMAC offer more security and I have been worried about my current computer and keeping secure. It is just an idea right now, the alternative gift for myself would be to make that amount in OPs to my mortgage and it could start the ball rolling for many OPs. I know what a money saver would say don't buy a new computer until you actually need it and if you think you will start the ball rolling for a long line of OPs, then do it if that would make you happy.

I think I have given myself the advice, but the computer would have made a great Christmas presentXX

I am on £1070.89/ £600 which is 178% utilised, I am on 14/12 No spend days, there is 6 days left of the month. I have £2000/£3500 EF which is 57% of the way there, aiming for £600 to add at the end of the month which would make it 74% of the way there. Today is Saturday, MD & I have been to the supermarket she got me a jumper and bedding set, I got a new mug which I love and some snacks. We then went home and played scrabble and ate sushi which was not as good as MandS sushi, so we won't get that again. We also tried the chocolate and toffee bread - it was rather scrummy! All in all a lovely day out. Next week we have our eyes on a local craft market.

Sometime later, I have just edited the figures to include an new purchase, I bought a winter coat which I will need going to the office and a new tunic/ dress, which I have had my eye on for some time and is now reduced.XX
