Final scheduled payments for debt went out today for the month as most are set to pay on the 1st

    #9 £191.71/£2254

to meet my target I need to pay a minimum of £188 per month so it’s nice to have achieved that by the 2nd. Payments will slow now as I have my MOT at the end of the month so not going to overpay until I know whether I’m going to need to pay for any work done on the car
Exactly the same here lol though mine's due 9th Jan. Actually still need to book it in 🤦.

I'm going to forecast a good £1,100 dent once the car is done, as long as the car doesn't cost too much. It'll be a £740 dent at the very least - hopefully can check in at the end of next week.

Best of luck all and happy new year 🎉😊

  • Hi @BlueJ94

My first payment is loan and 0% CC minimums following payday.  Hope to pay more off later in the month.  This represents 5.5 steps towards my total.  I need just over 8 steps per month to hit the total at the end of the year.

Down to two credit cards now totalling £13577.

I worked about 100 hours overtime last month, so should get those paid on the 25th January. I'm trying to do similar this month (feb pay), and so far have got two weeks into the 5 week pay period with an extra 32 hours overtime and 38 hours at Bank Holiday rate. It adds up, but I'm a permanenly exhausted pigeon.

I've been doing these hours for about a year to clear debt. I can't wait for the day I'm debt free!

    Was 16000  now 13577 😁

    Happy Saturday everyone

First update from me.  All payments made for the month, so total is

    Number 25 - £2036.73/£10,000

£300 of that amount was unplanned,  I paid my barclaycard and the app said that there was a problem, so I paid it again.  Both payments went through!!

I have sold some items on vinted, so I will be making more payments when the money clears.
