The only other requirement is that you pay in £1500 to each account.trickydicky14 said:Stargunner said:i didn’t even know there was such a thing as a rewards tracker, and even if I did, I have no need to look at it . I just pay £500 on each debit card each month and I have always received the £5 reward for them each month.Yes that’s great if it works for you but the requirements are a bit more than just £500 each month and some folks use it as a reminder that all that is needed has been done even more so if you have 3 accounts to deal with.
if you have 3 of them, I would have thought that you have your own system to remind you to meet the criteria, rather than relying on their app that is prone to error.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
Seems to have updated to the 10th now but I’ll just make sure I complete all the steps regardless what the tracker says.0

You can safely ignore the tracker. So long as you have a reward active, and you are meeting the terms, the reward will be paid. (And if it isn't, you have cause for complaint.)
Even when it works 'correctly' it is a few days behind.1 -
Every month, I just deposit £500 into a building society savings acc from my Halifax Reward acc using my debit card, and qualify for the £5 reward. It tracks as soon as the "pending" transaction has cleared (a couple of days).
This January, though, the tracker says I've not yet qualified for this month's £5 bonus (despite my making the £500 payment a week ago), saying "you haven't spent £500 with your debit card"
Also, on the tracking page I now notice a blue link "What kind of spending counts towards the offer?" (This wasn't there before, or I never noticed it), and when I open the link, it says that taking cash out won't count, but also that "when you transfer money to another account".
Is this the end of the easy free fivers every month?0 -
That text has always been there. The tracker is just borked again, probably - but if you renewed your reward before you did your £1500 in and £500 payment then you'll need to do it again.keiran said:Every month, I just deposit £500 into a building society savings acc from my Halifax Reward acc using my debit card, and qualify for the £5 reward. FWIW my three and my wife's three are all green for January, with a normal mix of credit card payments, savings deposits and Revolut top ups. Debit card transactions all dated 2nd Jan.
As always, I'd encourage you to just ignore the tracker other than to check for renewals (toward the end of the month, optimally).1 -

Is this the end of the easy free fivers every month? As long as you meet the criteria then it doesn't actually matter what the tracker says. There's been multiple instances in the past when the tracker hasn't updated correctly, but everyone has still been paid as expected. Nothing to worry about.Worst case if it didn't pay out then you put in a complaint, and you'll get paid out anyway2 -
Mine isn't working either for January.keiran said:Every month, I just deposit £500 into a building society savings acc from my Halifax Reward acc using my debit card, and qualify for the £5 reward. It tracks as soon as the "pending" transaction has cleared (a couple of days).

It says updated to 9th Jan but £0 spent and £0 paid in.
I met all the criteria on 2nd Jan the same way I do every month with transferring £1500 in from other accounts and paying £500 off one or more credit cards.0 -

On a few occasions when the tracker failed to work for me, it was the case of spending not tracking properly on the first working day of the month. Doesn't prove anything obviously.hermante said:Mine isn't working either for January.
