The other thing they routinely get wrong is their tracker of whether you are on schedule for rewards.BlueonBlue said:They have been paying me since 2009 on multiple accounts every month.

What do people use as their cut-off date when paying by debit card so the transaction comes out in the same month?

Ive left it late once so rang them up and got paid out but I felt I had a case in my favour .
Its best to make your DD card spend early as poss though .
Say 4 working days before months end ?
If your late then so be it but your going to need to wait till after the 12th 13th the following month to find out .

It's a balancing act. My main CC is payable at the end of the month. I have the statement but if I pay now it's nearly a pounds worth of interest i lose. Don't want to leave it right to the wire, but want to get as much interest as possible.BlueonBlue said:Ive left it late once so rang them up and got paid out but I felt I had a case in my favour .

I pay into a savings account accepting debit card deposits on the 1st of the month... Usually clears 1-2 working days later. Apart from a one-off earlier in the year, I've been never had issues with it being accepted. Personally I wouldn't leave it to late in the month to avoid that potential issue.1
