Often when you do the same thing over and over ,many times, you then know what works best for yourself via trial an error... it then becomes obvious or far more clear what works for you.
I would start paying the £500 via debit card "4 working days" before the months end .
See how the time scales work out then next month perhaps do 3 working days .
I dont think its a good idea to let the £500 arrive on the last working day of the month .
My calcs may be wrong but at 4% £500 is around .05p a day gross

I pay £500 into my Revolut account by debit card, it arrives practically instantly and I immediately transfer it back to my main current account where it also arrives practically instantly.1

Can you do those £500 transfers multiple times with 3 to 4 or more reward accounts ....or does Revolute spit the dummy?
Sounds like having a Revolute account may be a good backup though .0 -

I pay my credit card in full with my halifax debit card, and usually it is over £500. I also have a fuel card linked to my halifax debit card, so 3-4 working days after I have filled up a payment will be taken. That counts as well. I try to time fuel purchases to work appropriately, either to go into the next month if I'm covered already this month, or to go through if I'm still short.0

My £500 payments are very slow every month (its a pia actually) but the reward has been paying out since 2009 so ....
Sounds like I really should consider Revolute as a secondary backup method but only using it for rewards might pose issues unless I find other uses for it .0 -

That sounds sensible if what I read is true .
Thanks to your helpful info I may well apply .0 -
My rewards tracker today on the 2nd may is still showing...... that it last updated on 21st April .
I relise the tracker doesnt matter but since its isnt fit for purpose Halifax should fix it or get rid of it .1 -
Mine has jumped to the 23rd. Showing I'm about £35 short. I bought £85 of fuel after that, so should be fine - but as said the tracker isn't a reliable record.0
