Gr1pr said:The tracking number on their response was the middle one, not the bottom one, so they used the wrong tracking number if you gave them a copy of the complete receipt ? Or you gave them the incorrect tracking number, it's one or the other, either way the details in their response were not correct
The tracking number for the CNBC in Northampton was actually KL615271244GBDeliveredYour item was delivered on 30-09-2024.Not the signature you expected? Find out why.Tracking number:KL615271244GBService used:Royal Mail Signed For™Proof of deliveryRotate imageSigned for by: JOSHDelivered at: 08:51, Monday 30 September 2024
I will make it clear in the next email for them to look at the correct tracking number.1 -
Yes, use their combined complaints email, pointing out their error in deciphering your proof of sending etc2

The above email response was from: ccmccandccbc-complaints@justice.gov.uk
So im assuming this is the same email im escalating to right?

Recieved a response. Please see below
Good morning,
Thank you for your correspondence.
Thank you for forwarding your other tracking number, I can see that the letter you sent to us then was received on 30 September 2024. I cannot see any record of that being processed and added to court records for your claim. That is why the claimant was able to enter judgment against you by default, without the need for a hearing.
Please forward a copy of the letter that you sent, that we received on 30 September 2024, so we can look into this further.
I hope this is of assistance. If you need more information please contact us.
Kind Regards,
David Wall
I believe I already sent the letter in the first email, do I reply saying to check the email chain or do I send the letter appeal again?
Thanks in advance

Dont mention appeal, I doubt that you sent any appeal, more likely to be a defence ?
Reply attaching a copy of the missing letter contents, regardless of if you did it previously3 -

So ill just send a reply with the attachment of my original defence (dated 25th sep) and a simple line saying "please see my defence attached"
If this fine?
Thanks in advance0 -
It is as long as you add why you are doing so, the name of that person who asked for it, the tracker reference number and who signed for it etc
In other words, dont rely on an email trail or certain people dealing with it, or previous paperwork
The less work and research that they have to do, the more likely they are to get it set aside due to their failures and mistakes in a timely manner. You then achieve what you want, so now is not the time to be awkward with someone new to the saga3 -

You can't just write that.
They want a copy of what you sent by post, so they can look for it. And you need to explain exactly what was in the envelope.
Surely you included a covering letter when you posted the signed defence? If not, that's why it went missing. If you post things by randomly putting the item in an envelope with no explanation or refs on a cover letter, then (in my experience of working for years at a Head Office of a bank, which is a much smaller building) I'm afraid I'd fully expect them to be misfiled or lost in a massive multi-agency Admin Centre.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Also, I recieved a reply. Please see below.

I have referred your case to a district judge urgently for their directions. We’ll send you a copy of their order as soon as they provide directions and the order can be drawn.
I hope this is of assistance. If you need more information please contact us.

Hopefully the CCJ will be set aside and the case will revert back to where it should have been if the CNBC had processed the defence sent by post
