Well done on the project award 👏🥳

At least DH knows where he stands now and can start to make plans. Hopefully he’ll pick something else up quickly.

Thank you :)  It will only be statutory redundancy, but something is better than nothing.

Happy Friday!  It's a bit annoying that DH still has to work the bank holidays considering.  We'll need to check we are up on what he will be entitled to as admin is not a strong point of the company.  I'm guessing there may be pay in lieu of notice etc.

The kids want to go trampolining today so that's booked.  It means I'll get to sit for a couple of hours with my book :)

I'm hoping to try and get some stuff done this long weekend.  I don't really have any plans so would like to get things done around the house.  DH is planning on taking the kids to the cinema tomorrow so I can get on while they are out.  I've also got two large plants that have suddenly appeared in the garden, I want to find out what they are before I pull them out.  They've shot up and are waist high in what seems like only a couple of weeks!

Congratulations and glad you are being sponsored to attend the award.
Knowing is better than not knowing. Hoping DH will find something new

  • Typically anything that grows quickly in my garden is a weed. Unfortunate news for dh but maybe this is an opportunity to consider how he would like to spend the next however many years. Just try to ensure it’s not buying and maybe selling.
