It will only be statutory redundancy, but something is better than nothing.

Happy Friday! It's a bit annoying that DH still has to work the bank holidays considering. We'll need to check we are up on what he will be entitled to as admin is not a strong point of the company. I'm guessing there may be pay in lieu of notice etc.
The kids want to go trampolining today so that's booked. It means I'll get to sit for a couple of hours with my book
I'm hoping to try and get some stuff done this long weekend. I don't really have any plans so would like to get things done around the house. DH is planning on taking the kids to the cinema tomorrow so I can get on while they are out. I've also got two large plants that have suddenly appeared in the garden, I want to find out what they are before I pull them out. Typically anything that grows quickly in my garden is a weed. Unfortunate news for dh but maybe this is an opportunity to consider how he would like to spend the next however many years.
