Every claimant "has a case". I can sue anybody in the country for any old made up reason and get into a court room if I was canny enough.

The Government's website on mediation states:

    Can the mediator provide advice?

No. The mediator will help you consider different options to resolve the dispute, but they don’t give advice. Their role is to facilitate a conversation between you and the other side.

Does the mediator decide what happens?

The mediator helps to keep things moving forward so both sides feel progress is being made, but the mediator doesn’t decide on the outcome.

Mediators are skilled at helping parties to see a way through the dispute, but do not impose solutions.

It is for you and the other side to agree on how you are going to settle the dispute.

Sounds like this mediator over stepped the mark, they are just trained in mediation not parking rules or contracts, I think they lean in the direction of the claimant to save court backlogs, I would report them you can do it through the website.

Agree with advise given on mediation...report it and start giving mediators the facts about DCBL court discontinuation practice.

If you have any complaints or issues to raise about the Small Claims Mediation Service
Email:  scmreferrals@justice.gov.uk as well as the route fisherjim post advises.

I don't think DCB Legal will discontinue as they are asking for 3 tickets which is around 750. Surely they will pursue?

Not at Mediation stage. That phone call is the same as explained in the Template Defence thread. Three minutes max, with you saying:

"Hello Mediator. Yes, my message is: tell the Claimant to go away. No offers. Stop asking me. Here's some feedback for you: the Mediation Service should stop damn well supporting parking scam generic roboclaims that will never win in court. Goodbye!"
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've just received this letter this morning. Really concerned as I don't know how to defend myself. Is there anyone I can reach out to?
